From volunteering after high school to 41 years of service, Christine W., RN, has built an incredible career at Wooster Community Hospital. 💙
She first joined WCH as a volunteer and was later hired while still in nursing school, splitting time between human resources and the lab before beginning her nursing career on med-surg. In 1989, she transitioned to surgery and found what she calls her “forever home.”
Today, she serves as a perioperative educator, where she teaches surgical skills to new nurses and enjoys watching their confidence grow as they discover their place in the operating room.
Christine shares that one of the most meaningful parts of her role is caring for patients during some of the most stressful moments in their lives and being part of a compassionate team providing high-quality care close to home.
Thank you, Christine, for 41 years of dedication to our patients, our staff, and our community. 💙
