🎄✨ What a wonderful evening we had this week celebrating our Viola Startzman Clinic family! ✨🎄

We had an incredible turnout for our annual Christmas party, hosted at the beautiful American Hall Venue in Millersburg. It was truly special to gather together and reflect on an amazing year of service and growth.

We are so proud of our Executive Director, Dr. Mark Yoder, DNP, FNP-C, PMHNP-C, for winning this prestigious statewide award! Thank you to the Charitable Healthcare Network for recognizing his dedication and impact in expanding access to care in our community. 💙

Charitable Healthcare Network proudly honors Dr. Mark Yoder, DNP, FNP-C, PMHNP-C, as the 2025 Free Clinic Advanced Practice Provider of the Year for his transformative leadership at Viola Startzman Clinic in Wooster, Ohio.

A lifelong Wooster resident with over 10 years in primary, urgent, and wound care, Dr. Yoder serves as Executive Director, Wayne County Chapter Leader for OAAPN, and adjunct professor at Walsh University. Growing up seeing families struggle with healthcare access, he joined Viola Startzman Clinic to remove barriers and treat patients with dignity, expanding services to include integrated primary care, mental health, dental, and community health worker support across Wayne and Holmes Counties.

Under his guidance, the clinic stabilized amid challenges, reduced emergency room visits, better managed chronic conditions, and brought care to underserved areas like Holmes County and West Salem. "Helping people who would otherwise fall through the cracks is what drives me every day," he shares. Patients' gratitude and community trust affirm the impact.

Dr. Yoder finds purpose in stories of resilience that remind him why this work matters, strengthening his leadership and appreciation for quiet daily struggles.

We are grateful for the trust our community places in us and remain committed to ensuring that everyone has access to high-quality primary care, mental health, dental, and supportive services—regardless of ability to pay.

We love our Community Health Workers! 💚

Community Health Workers (CHWs) work alongside the Viola Startzman Clinic Primary Care Team to better serve the community. Services may be provided in a variety of settings, including in-home visits, telehealth appointments, and public group visits, depending on the patient’s needs
