It is with heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of our very own, Dr. Michael Knapic. A beloved physician and friend to all in our community, especially to his peers and coworkers. Dr. Knapic served WOSMC and his patients for 24 years, and is an irreplaceable loss to us all.

We know that many questions and concerns will follow this announcement. Please rest assured that we will address each one to the best of our ability. Our staff is working diligently behind the scenes to transition your care in a timely manner, but our grief is ever present.

We graciously ask that you give our staff and clinic a moment to process this tremendous loss. Your care is of the utmost importance to us, and we will continue to facilitate and address each of you in the same exemplary way that Dr. Knapic has for the past 24 years. Please uplift his family, coworkers, and those who loved him in your daily prayers.

He will be greatly missed.

Happy Thanksgiving!
At this time of year we sit around and consider what we are all thankful for. I thought I'd share my list...
1. Jesus Christ as my savior. Without him I am nothing. He has blessed me with all that I have and has played a role in everything else on this list.
2. I am grateful for my wife. We have been through so much together and she makes me stronger. I love you
3. I am thankful for my entire family. My children and parents. They shape me and give me purpose.
4. I am thankful for my patients. I love taking care of each and every one of them! It's an honor to care for the people in our community.
5. I am grateful for our Wayne county community so many supportive people caring and praying for one another and supporting each other through good times and bad.
6. I am grateful for my grandmother who passed away this year and all the time I had with her and the influence she had on me while she was here on this earth. See you in heaven grandma!
