Our 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 program has this specific goal: Hypertrophy 💪🏼

We use traditional body-building and isolated movement patterns to focus solely on breaking down and building muscle. It’s different than CrossFit in the way that we complete each movement with the goal to make each set BURN 🔥

And don’t worry, you’ll always have an optional cardio piece at the end of every day 😉

This program is more “bodybuilding” focused and uses isolated movements and tempos to place a slightly higher emphasis on hypertrophy rather than work capacity.

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫??

Remember, when we train, we actually get WORSE. We break down our muscles through strength training and conditioning. Then, our muscles overcompensate to the stimulus we present it to become stronger and more resilient.

BUT, the overcompensation (aka building muscle) only occurs if we recover properly. If you don’t take the time to REST, you can find yourself in a place of overtraining and not fully taking advantage of the work you’re putting in.

So, do you recover as hard as you work? Things like nutrition, mobility work, sauna, cold plunge, massage and bodywork, or even just simply relaxing and unplugging will promote proper recovery.

🔥𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐓𝐎𝐘𝐒🔥

A little cardio equipment upgrade means all of our members & can get expect (and of course look forward to) Ski ergs being added to the program starting next week!

The Ski Erg is a great cardio machine for building general aerobic capacity with a larger focus on upper body/core stamina and endurance

We’re feeling a little HYROX-y, what do you think? 😎

Derek has been working for this for a while (as you can tell by the emphatic rig punch lol) and today he got on top of that bar!!
