Hi,

Have you been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation (AF or AFib) and are at moderate or high risk for stroke and systemic embolism? Are you at least 18 years old? Science 37 is enrolling participants with a confirmed diagnosis of AF.

We are looking for individuals who have been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation and are at moderate to high risk for stroke and embolism. If qualified, you can take part in a research study to evaluate the tolerability and safety of a new investigational treatment for prevention of these medical complications.

All participants in this study will get treatment for their AFib. However, this is a randomized study. This means that you will be assigned to receive either the study drug or an active, standard-of-care treatment. No participant will receive only placebo. This is a double-blind, double-dummy study. This means neither you nor the study team will know if you are getting the study drug or the comparator.

This study will be done virtually, which means we will come to you to do the study assessments. The study doctor will be available through telemedicine and a mobile research team member will come to your home. We will need to evaluate you to see if you qualify for the study. This evaluation is at no cost to you and will include a collection of vitals and an electrocardiogram (ECG).
