❤️ Happy Valentine’s Day from NAMI Wayne & Holmes Counties ❤️

Valentine’s Day is often associated with flowers, cards, and romantic love—but at NAMI, we know that love shows up in many forms. It’s in the friend who checks in with a text. The family member who listens without judgment. The support group where you feel understood for the first time. And the courage it takes to show yourself compassion on hard days.

Mental health journeys are not meant to be walked alone. Connection, understanding, and community can make a powerful difference in healing and recovery. That’s why NAMI exists—to remind every person that you are not alone, and that support is always within reach.

Today, we invite you to pause and reflect on the love that supports your mental health—whether it comes from others or from the steps you take to care for yourself.

👇 Join the conversation:
• Who has been a source of support or encouragement in your life?
• What’s one small way you’re showing yourself love today?
• Tag someone who deserves a little extra appreciation ❤️

Let’s fill the comments with gratitude, kindness, and reminders that love and mental health go hand in hand.

We’re proud to announce Scott and Susan Boyes as the Honorary Chairs for our 2026 Walk & 5K for Wellness! 💚 Scott and Susan are lifelong Wayne County residents who have shared 40 years of marriage rooted in family, service, and community. Together, they raised three children and are now proud grandparents of four, embracing each stage of life with deep commitment and care for others. A Triway High School graduate and registered nurse, Susan devoted much of her adult life to being a stay-at-home mother while also giving generously of her time through church youth ministry and her current volunteer work with Breakaway in the Green Local School District. Scott, a Northwestern High School graduate, has dedicated much of his professional career to Wooster Community Hospital, where he serves as President and Chief Executive Officer, leading a team focused on providing high-quality, compassionate care. United by their faith and years of service, Scott and Susan share a steadfast belief in caring for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—and in strengthening the community they have long called home. With your support in NAMI’s Walk and 5K for Wellness, you are helping the Boyes with this important work.

Please join us in thanking them for championing mental health awareness in our community!
