🤍 Marshmallow is a beloved herb and a staple in the homes of herbalists across the world where she is known as “the great moistener” for her ability to hydrate dried, soft tissue mucosa throughout the body.

Upon arrival this morning to our beautifully cleared out store front (props to our snow removal guy!💪🏼) we still decided to close, as there is absolutely no cleared space to park on Shrewsbury Street. We will keep you posted as the city clears the breakdown lane and makes space for all our lovely patrons.

🫖Get your kettles ready!

🫖 In this fun and interactive class we’ll delve into the art of herbal blending for health and learn a simple beginner’s formula to help guide you as you go on to create your own supportive blends for years to come.

🫖 It’s a make and take! Each participant will formulate, create and blend their own custom herbal tea to enjoy at home from the Herbalist’s Choice selection of herbs provided during this class.

🫖 You’ll also learn the ins and outs of three different approaches to using water as an herbal extraction method to create: a simple infusion, a tonic infusion and a decoction.

🫖 Each participant will leave with their very own handcrafted herbal blend (made by YOU, ooo la la!) in a glass jar, printed material of what’s learned and the knowledge and confidence to begin making simple herbal blends going forward.

🌿 In this class, we will touch upon the workings of the neuro-endocrine system as it relates to stress and the role herbal adaptogens and nervines can play to potentially improve stress response and restore balance within, each in their own unique way.

🤓 You will be familiarized with herbal vocabulary and develop a better understanding surrounding plant parts, herbal preparations, actions and energetics.

🤓 Grasping this foundational language will better prepare you to expand your herbal journey and give you a clearer understanding on how to choose which herbs may be most suitable for your needs.
