⚡️ Footwork Friday: Pronation, Supination & Your Knees ⚡️

Your feet are the foundation—but what happens at the foot doesn’t stay at the foot. 👣

👉 Pronation (arch flattening) and supination (arch lifting) directly influence how your knees align and absorb forces. Too much of either, and the knee takes the hit with stress it was never designed to handle.

💥 Why does this matter? Because your ability to control impact and create propulsion starts at the ground:

Field sport athletes: quick cuts, pivots, and direction changes depend on stable knees supported by responsive foot mechanics.

Runners: each stride multiplies ground reaction forces—efficient pronation/supination patterns help your body absorb and release that energy without breakdown.

Weightlifters: strong lifts come from strong bases—foot position determines whether your knees stay stacked and safe or cave under load.

Your feet are the foundation of every step, leap, climb, and landing you take. For obstacle course racers and ninja athletes, foot and ankle performance can be the difference between sticking the landing or missing the bar. This workshop dives deep into how the foot’s anatomy, sensory input, and function directly impact athleticism, efficiency, and injury prevention.

You’ll walk away with a stronger connection to the ground, improved awareness of how your feet drive movement, and practical drills to enhance performance and resilience.

In this workshop, we’ll cover:

🦶 Foot Anatomy 101 – understanding the bones, joints, and arches that power every movement

👣 Sensory Input & Proprioception – how your feet “talk” to your brain and sharpen agility, balance, and reaction time
