Our Autism Alliance of MetroWest and Autism Resource Center teams were proud to attend the 21st Annual Autism Advocacy Day at the Massachusetts State House this year! The theme of the event, “Safeguarding Our Future: Defending Critical Services for the Autism Community,” underscored the urgent need to protect essential supports for individuals with autism and their families.

Hosted by The Arc of Massachusetts and AFAM - Advocates for Autism of Massachusetts, the event brought together self-advocates, families, professionals, and allies to raise their voices, learn about legislative priorities, and connect with state legislators. Thank you for this inspiring morning of advocacy and community!

Believe it or not, the school year is beginning to wind down! With May on the horizon, we have prom, graduation, and warm weather to look forward to!

Our community has SO much to celebrate, so join us on May 6th to learn how to celebrate safely! Detective Stephen Sullivan and Attorney Richard Rafferty will join us to speak about the Social Host Law and how parents and caregivers, and sometimes minors, are responsible for underage drinking.

This event will be recorded and livestreamed. All parents and caregivers are welcome, even if your child isn't a junior or senior in high school! This is an important law that many people don't understand. Join us to make sure that you do!
