🫀SVH Heart Symposium Brings Community and Experts Together ❤️

We had an incredible turnout at today’s Heart Symposium, hosted by the Saint Vincent Medical Group. This free community event welcomed both the public and medical professionals to our hospital for an afternoon of education, conversation, and expert insights from four of our cardiologists.

Our cardiologists presented on the following topics:

🩺 Richard Wholey, MD – Drugs and Supplements in Preventive Cardiology
🩺 Eddison Ramsaran, MD – Stents: What You Need to Know
🩺 Ricardo Bello, MD – Aortic Aneurysm
🩺 Krishna Cherukuri, MD – Aortic Valve Stenosis: Symptoms, Diagnosis and Management

A heartfelt thank‑you to our physicians for sharing their expertise and helping educate our community. Your commitment to advancing heart health makes a real difference. 💜

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make this event such a success. Bringing high‑quality heart health education to our community is something we’re proud to do, and today’s strong turnout shows how important these conversations are.

🎉 Congratulations to Dr. Michelle Hadley! 🎉

We are proud to share that cardiologist Dr. Michelle Hadley has been elected as the 149th President of the Worcester District Medical Society, beginning her two‑year term last week. She was pinned by outgoing President Dr. Alwyn Rapose, an infectious disease physician at Saint Vincent Hospital.

Reflecting on the moment, Dr. Hadley shared:
“It is a huge honor to be the Worcester District Medical Society President. Being only the third female to hold this position since 1794 is more than an honor. I am motivated to lead with grace, and to continue making an impact not only on our patients and the community, but also in my support of our physicians.”

We are incredibly proud of Dr. Hadley’s dedication, her leadership, and her commitment to strengthening the health of our community. 💜👏
