Myofascial massage is one of the most effective ways to release deep tension that stretching or traditional massage can’t reach. When fascia becomes tight or restricted, it can create pain, stiffness, and limited mobility. Slow, sustained pressure helps soften these restrictions and restore ease in the body. A gentle approach with powerful results.

Retinol is a powerful ingredient that speeds up cell turnover, but it also makes the skin more sensitive. Because microneedling creates controlled micro injuries to stimulate collagen, you want the skin to be calm, balanced, and not already in a sensitized state.

Depending on your skin sensitivity we recommend pausing retinol for about 3–5 days before microneedling.

This short break helps reduce the risk of:
• Excess redness or irritation
• Increased sensitivity during treatment
• Compromised skin barrier response

After your treatment, retinol should also be avoided for several days while the skin is healing. This allows the skin to focus on repair and collagen production without competing with active ingredients.

Think of it as giving your skin a clean slate creating the ideal conditions for microneedling to deliver its best results while minimizing any unnecessary irritation.

Skincare is more than what we apply, it’s also the environment we create for our skin. This beautiful reminder comes from our esthetician Kasia F, who always brings thoughtful, education forward insight to our followers.

Humidity plays a quiet but powerful role in how well the skin stays hydrated, especially during the winter months. Cold outdoor air holds very little moisture, and indoor heating pulls even more from the skin, often leaving it feeling tight, dry, or easily irritated.

Kasia F. recommends incorporating a humidifier, especially at bedtime, to help replenish moisture in the air and support your skin’s natural barrier. It’s a simple, comforting addition to your nighttime ritual, one that helps your skin wake up softer, calmer, and more balanced.

February Self-Care Tip:

Winter is when hands need the most love. Cold air, indoor heat, and constant washing can leave them dry, tight, and easily irritated, but a few intentional steps can make a noticeable difference.

A simple, elevated routine to keep hands soft all month:
• Start with a paraffin hand treatment for deep, soothing warmth that helps soften the skin and boost hydration from within.
• Follow with a Hydrating Hand Cream (ours is now 20% off!) to lock in moisture without any heaviness. Its nourishing, non greasy formula keeps hands comfortable even through repeated washing.
• Create a nighttime ritual by applying a generous layer of hand cream before bed. Overnight, the skin naturally repairs itself, making this the perfect time to restore softness and support the moisture barrier.

Some of you may have already met our newest esthetician, Bethany, but we wanted to make an official welcome to the team introduction!

Bethany joins EA with a background in healthcare, spending three years as a Lead Cardiac Technologist before moving into aesthetics. She brings that same precision, care, and calm presence into every treatment. She loves creating personalized plans, educating clients, and helping them feel confident in their skin. When she’s not in the treatment room, you’ll find her doing Pilates, traveling, or relaxing by the ocean.

Winter is the ideal season to treat spider veins.

The cooler months make aftercare easier, since seasonal clothing naturally keeps treated areas protected while your skin heals comfortably and discreetly.

Most clients achieve their best cosmetic results with a series of 2–4 sclerotherapy sessions spaced several weeks apart.

Beginning in winter gives your legs the full treatment window they need to look smooth, clear, and confident by summer.

If you’ve been thinking about addressing your spider veins, this is the perfect time to begin.
