When Amy Brassard, RN, BSN, CHPN, was a high school senior, she watched hospice nurses care for her grandfather at home.

She saw not only skilled hands at work, but also hearts that brought peace to an entire family. The experience left a lasting impression — a quiet conviction that everyone deserves to spend their final days in comfort and dignity.

Decades later, that belief would guide Amy to VNA Care’s Rose Monahan Hospice Home, where she now helps provide the same compassionate care that made such an impact on her own family.

Home Health Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants: At Home Private Care has opportunities throughout Eastern and Central Mass, including MetroWest, Boston/Cambridge, Danvers, Leominster and Milford.

You’ll help our clients maintain their dignity and independence while giving respite for loved ones. 4- to 12-hour shifts available.

VNA Care is offering a free, six-week grief support group beginning Friday, Jan. 9, from 9:30 to 11 am at Atrius Health Norwood, 1177 Providence Highway (Route 1 South), Norwood.

The group is open to anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one, friend, co-worker, or colleague. You will find a safe space to express your feelings and receive emotional support and validation as you journey towards hope.
