🎄✨Holiday Door Decorating Contest ✨🎄

Odd Fellows Home was filled with holiday cheer thanks to our amazing staff who participated in our Holiday Door Decorating Contest! The creativity and festive spirit made our halls extra bright this season ❤️

🏆 1st Place: Marcia, our Activities Director
Marcia wowed everyone with a cozy, home-inspired door featuring a beautiful fireplace scene—it truly felt like stepping into the holidays!

🥈 2nd Place: Nancy, our Administrative Assistant
Nancy’s door shined bright with a stunning Christmas tree design that captured classic holiday magic!

🥉 3rd Place: Zoraida, our Scheduler
Zoraida brought bold holiday flair with red wrapping paper and a creative white Christmas tree made entirely of streamers—so unique and festive!

Thank you to all the staff who participated and a BIG shout out to Susan Needle, the Vice President of the Board of Director for Odd Fellows Home! Susan came out to be our very special judge and vote for the winners! This contest was so much fun and got everyone in the Christmas spirit! We’re so grateful for this incredible team! 🎁❄️🎅

Last Friday, our team came together for a special staff party to celebrate some wonderful moments in our facility family! 💙

🎂 Happy Birthday to our amazing receptionist, Deb! Thank you for being the smiling face that greets everyone who walks through our doors!

💍 We also shared in the excitement of Karissa, our Director of Admissions/Marketing, on her recent engagement! Congratulations on this exciting new chapter!

🙌 And finally, we gave a warm welcome to Tim, our Director of Rehab! We’re thrilled to have you join our team and look forward to all the great things ahead.

Moments like these remind us how special our team truly is. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day so memorable! 🥳

✨🎄 Christmas Coffee House at Odd Fellows Home🎄✨

We had the best time at our Christmas Coffee House event this past weekend! ☕️

The dining room felt so cozy and festive—carolers were walking through singing all our favorite Christmas songs, the coffee was hot, the treats were delicious, and everyone was in great spirits!

Today we were grateful to gather together for a beautiful Thanksgiving Lunch shared with our residents, their families, and our dedicated staff.

The room was filled with laughter, warm conversations, and the spirit of gratitude that makes this season so special.

Seeing families come together and watching our residents enjoy a delicious meal surrounded by love truly reminded us what Thanksgiving is all about — connection, community, and that we have so much to be grateful for 🧡

A huge thank you to our amazing team for preparing such a wonderful event and to all the families who joined us. We are so thankful for each and every one of you!

We had a wonderful time hosting a Lunch + Learn: Holiday Craft at the West Boylston Senior Center!

Community members came together to enjoy a festive afternoon filled with creativity, connection, and holiday cheer. From handmade ornaments to cheerful conversations, it was a heartwarming way to kick off the season. ❤️

💙 Celebrating Kofi’s Retirement 💙

Today, we celebrate someone truly special — Kofi Opoku-Agyemang, who is retiring after 11 amazing years as an LPN here at Odd Fellows Home.

From the very beginning, Kofi has been the heart of our team — caring for our residents with compassion, kindness, and professionalism that inspired everyone around him. His laughter filled our halls, his patience comforted families, and his dedication set a beautiful example of what it means to care from the heart.

It’s hard to imagine our days without him, but we’re so excited for this next chapter in his life — one filled with relaxation, family time, and all the things he loves most.

Thank you, Kofi, for your 11 years of love, hard work, and commitment to our residents and team. You’ve left a mark that will never fade. 💖

I asked Kofi if he had any parting words. He smiled and said "I will never forget Odd Fellows Home".

On Veterans Day, we proudly celebrated the incredible veterans who call Odd Fellows their home. Each of these remarkable men and women has served our country with courage, honor, and sacrifice — and it was our privilege to spend the day recognizing their service. ❤️🤍💙

A very special thank you to New England Hospice for coming into our facility to host this wonderful celebration and honor our veterans with a pinning ceremony. Your kindness, respect, and dedication made this day truly meaningful for our residents and their families.

From patriotic music and heartfelt moments to words of gratitude and reflection, the day was filled with pride and appreciation for those who have given so much.

To all who have served — we thank you for your bravery, your service, and the freedoms you’ve protected. You are true heroes, and we are honored to care for you every day.

Happy Tuesday! 🤓

Thank you to Umass for inviting us out to the UMMH Continuum Partnership Meeting today!

The Case Management team provided a wonderful presentation in regards to improving transitions of care, case management updates, new models being put into place within the hospital, and so much more. We are looking forward to better communication and collaborating in ways to better patient care 👍
