We celebrated New Year’s Eve with a fun and festive countdown to noon at our Adult Day Health today! As the clock ticked closer to 12:00, everyone gathered together, counted down the final seconds, and cheered as we rang in the “New Year” right at lunchtime. We enjoyed festive mocktails and spent time working on our New Year’s resolutions. It was a joyful, inclusive celebration and a great way to welcome the year ahead! 🎉

What a holly jolly day at our Adult Day Health Christmas party. The room was filled with smiles and laughter, plus a special visit from Santa Claus and his wonderful helpers. Then the Grinch made a surprise appearance, bringing even more fun to the celebration.

A heartfelt thank you to TJX for sponsoring our program and generously donating gifts for our participants—you helped make the day truly magical.

These moments capture what our program is all about: joy, connection, and community. We’re grateful to celebrate the season together and create memories that matter.

Marietta does not use Facebook or leave Google reviews, but she was excited to share a testimonial about her sister Elizabeth’s experience in our Adult Day Health (ADH) program.

Marietta first heard about us through her husband’s cousin. After her family had an unsatisfactory experience at another adult day health program, her mother—now a participant here—encouraged Marietta to call us.

Since joining Saint Francis, Marietta says Elizabeth has become more present and goes home feeling livelier, more alert, and happier. She is especially grateful for the physical therapy Elizabeth receives and the wonderful progress she has made.

Marietta also shared how much she appreciates our team’s positive attitude and the genuine care shown across every role—from transportation drivers who take time to socialize and ensure a safe, comfortable ride, to nursing staff who are communicative, supportive, and attentive. She loves seeing participants so well cared for, included, and truly having fun.

Back on His Feet & Home Again 💪🏡

Christos came to Saint Francis Rehab from Memorial Hospital with severe pain and major mobility limits—needing max assist for transfers and unable to walk. After a laminectomy, he returned to continue rehab with one goal: get home.

Through PT (balance, walking, stairs, Omnicycle®) and OT (transfers, standing balance, ADLs, group endurance work), Christos made incredible progress.

At discharge, he was transferring independently, walking household distances with a rolling walker, and completing ADLs at a modified independent level.

Daniel came to Saint Francis Rehab with one goal: regain his independence and return home. With skilled Physical and Occupational Therapy—plus the convenience of our in-house dialysis team—his care was seamless, supportive, and focused on real-life success.

Through gait training, strengthening, stair practice, and functional tasks in our transitional mock apartment, Daniel built the confidence and skills he needed for everyday life. As Daniel shared, “This place is AMAZING! Everyone treats you like family.”

We’re honored to be part of your journey home, Daniel. 💙

Our campus consists of 63 long-term care beds, including a 16 bed men’s only unit. The center has only private, semi-private and grand semi-private rooms. We have five nursing units, 53 private rooms, two (2) small neighborhood Alzheimer’s Units totaling 37 secure beds, 35 Sub-Acute and a separate Adult Day Health program that can provide services for up to 60 participants per day. The skilled nursing facility has a beautiful Chapel and celebrates Mass six days a week.

The History of Saint Francis

The sacred history of the Little Franciscans of Mary had its beginnings in 1889. It is here that the foundresses, those 11 courageous women with generous hearts placed the ‘cornerstone’ of the congregation. Saint Francis maintains many of the traditions of the Little Sisters, with a focus on reverence and respect for life.

Our Mission is to provide compassionate, loving care rooted in dignity, reverence and respect for life.
