🐾 There’s nothing quite like a visit from our favorite gentle giant! 🐾
Every other Thursday, Saint Francis ADH gets a special treat when Hagrid, the Irish Wolfhound from Assisted Animal Therapy Services of MA, stops by with his wonderful handler, Gina.
Our participants absolutely light up when he walks through the door. There are plenty of smiles, snuggles, and joyful moments shared during his visits. His calm, comforting presence brings so much happiness to our community, and we’re so grateful to have him as part of our Saint Francis family.

At Saint Francis ADH, our participants & staff showed up in their comfiest PJs for a cozy & fun-filled day! We enjoyed a movie together, shared plenty of laughs, and of course… snacked on some delicious popcorn!

Saint Francis ADH had an unforgettable outing at Mechanics Hall yesterday!
Our participants enjoyed a midday jazz show by the talented 2Slick Jazz Band, all while relaxing with lunch right at our seats. Great music, good food, and even better company - the perfect combination for a wonderful afternoon!
Days like this remind us how special shared experiences can be.

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Veterans at Saint Francis 🇺🇸
Yesterday, we held a heartfelt Blessing of the American Flag ceremony in honor of Veterans Day — a time to reflect, remember, and give thanks to those who have bravely served our nation.
A special thank you to Christine Boc from Beacon Hospice for sharing a beautiful reading during the ceremony. Each of our Veterans received a commemorative coin and patriotic pin as a small token of our appreciation for their service and sacrifice.
We are forever grateful to our Veterans for their courage, dedication, and unwavering love of country. ❤️🤍💙

Today at Saint Francis Adult Day Health, we took time to honor and thank the veterans in our program for their service and dedication.
It was a meaningful moment shared by participants and staff alike — reflecting on the sacrifices our veterans have made and expressing our deep appreciation for their courage.

Dunkin’ Run!
Our participants enjoyed a fun field trip to Dunkin’ Donuts today — one of our favorite outings!
Between the coffee, treats, and laughter shared with friends, it was smiles all around.
These little trips are always a hit and a great way to enjoy time together outside the center!

Baking Club Fun at Saint Francis ADH!
Our participants got spooooky creative in last week’s Baking Club — whipping up mummy and monster cinnamon rolls! It was equal parts delicious and fun, with plenty of laughs (and frosting) along the way.

Halloween Trunk-or-Treat at Saint Francis!
Saint Francis Rehab and Adult Day Health celebrated Halloween in the best way—Trunk-or-Treat style!
Staff, residents, participants, and families came together for an afternoon filled with decorated car trunks, costumes, candy, music, and lots of smiles.
From spooky to sweet, every trunk was bursting with creativity and Halloween spirit. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the day so special for our community!

Saint Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is a 137 bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in the Grafton Hill area of Worcester. Our campus consists of 63 long-term care beds, including a 16 bed men’s only unit. The center has only private, semi-private and grand semi-private rooms. We have five nursing units, 53 private rooms, two (2) small neighborhood Alzheimer’s Units totaling 37 secure beds, 35 Sub-Acute and a separate Adult Day Health program that can provide services for up to 60 participants per day. The skilled nursing facility has a beautiful Chapel and celebrates Mass six days a week.
The History of Saint Francis
The sacred history of the Little Franciscans of Mary had its beginnings in 1889. It is here that the foundresses, those 11 courageous women with generous hearts placed the ‘cornerstone’ of the congregation. Saint Francis maintains many of the traditions of the Little Sisters, with a focus on reverence and respect for life.
