Meet Loki, the adorable new rescue pup (Yorkshire Terrier/Pug mix), currently on his journey to therapy dog certification! 🐶 And a big shoutout to Leo the golden retriever, who just aced his final test at The Bristol! 🎖

A heartfelt thank you to The Worthington Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution National Headquarters for visiting our community! They honored our veterans with beautiful lapel pins and certificates, showing appreciation for their brave service. Let’s celebrate these heroes together! 🇺🇸

Crafting update! The Roots and Shoots class from Worthington Kilbourne High School returned to our community to continue the clay woodland creatures project with residents! Each resident chose a unique glaze for their critters - next up, the students take them back to the kiln to fire them up! 🔥

After serving our country, it's time to celebrate their service, sacrifice and stories. 🇺🇸 Stacia Naquin spoke with veterans, including residents of The Bristol, in conjunction with Honor Flight Columbus, Inc.

We are so proud of our veterans and grateful that their stories are being shared with the wider community. "Reflections of Service and Sacrifice" is now streaming on 10TV+. 10TV - WBNS

"Reflections of Service and Sacrifice" follows 75 veterans on a special trip to Washington D.C. with Honor Flight Columbus.

We recently had the honor of welcoming Kyle Beachy, news anchor from NBC4, who visited The Bristol to interview our beloved resident, Marie D.

Marie proudly served as a nurse during World War II and shared her incredible stories of courage, compassion, and service. We are so grateful for her bravery and for the opportunity to help preserve her legacy.

Her interview is set to air around Veterans Day — stay tuned as we celebrate Marie and all who have served our country.

🎃👻 What a frightfully fun Halloween celebration we hosted! Our amazing residents and team members truly embraced the spooky season with professional face painting, a delicious dessert buffet, and even a doughnut wall! 🍩 We also enjoyed Halloween Jeopardy & an exciting costume contest.

🎃 Crafting alert! Today, we rolled up our sleeves and got crafty with blanket yarn to create adorable pumpkin poufs! Each resident brought their unique flair using a skein of yarn and polyfil, resulting in one-of-a-kind decorations for their apartments. 🧶

From puzzle enthusiasts to book club buffs, our residents are keeping their minds sharp with fun brain activities! 🧠 The Book Club, which meets every other Tuesday with Production Assistant Ruthie, is currently reading "Death on The Nile."

This week, we hosted a Dine & Donate event at the neighboring Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern to support the Alzheimer's Association, Central Ohio Chapter! 🧠💜 A heartfelt THANK YOU to all our wonderful residents, staff, and corporate pals who fueled this awesome cause—15% of your bills went straight to charity!

Our collaboration with The Ohio State University Socially Assistive Robotics Connect research project is finishing up with week with Billy, the humanoid robot. In our time with Billy, residents completed cognitive interactive activities including fishing, drumming and coloring. We were happy to participate in this exciting program! 🤖

Yesterday was an informative day at our hearing seminar with the Delaware Speech and Hearing Center! 🎧 Audiologist Erin Tarney shared invaluable insights and conducted screenings for our residents. Many are now scheduled for full exams, taking a vital step toward better hearing! 👂
