Meet your HHPC staff...
Hi, I'm Emily, the new Director here at HHPC. A few fun facts: I have lived in 8 different states (AZ & MA being my favorite), I love to travel, really enjoy being outside (whether it be by a beach/water, or in the mountains), I have a terrible sense of direction, and volunteering fills my cup.
I was raised in the Midwest, graduated HS from Iowa, went to LPN nursing school in MA, and RN school in Sheldon, IA. Nursing is my background, specifically surgery, OB was my least favorite, and here I am at a pregnancy center. I have to be honest and tell you that I had never been in a pregnancy center, or knew about them, until I started here. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't thank God for this job, I love my job. Why? There isn't a better feeling than being able to give people hope and help the community. I can also say I feel blessed to be working with the team at HHPC, all of my coworkers are a dream come true.
I have a step son that lives in KC, and 2 teen daughters that keep us all very busy. My husband and I are newlyweds, he is getting used to living with 3 women and definitely deserves an award for his patience. We have 2 dogs, 1 being a new puppy that has more energy than all of us put together (what were we thinking??).
I have become extremely passionate about the Center, I didn't know any of the abortion laws in MN prior to starting and feel grateful for being able to share them. Tune in for fun fact Friday when I will be sharing some of those laws as I'm finding not all people are aware of them.
Thanks for supporting the Center, I am truly in awe at the daily blessings that we receive here. We are all working hard to make the community a better place, to give people hope, and remind families that God chose them specifically to be blessed with babies.
This is my family volunteering at the Bishop Dudley homeless shelter on Thanksgiving, a family tradition. Thank you again!

Did you know???
We are now open full-time, 5 days a week serving families. We are not receiving any government funding at this time (after losing $150,000-170,000/year from the Positive Alternatives Grant), we are SOLELY funded from private donations, churches, local businesses, and grants. We have recently hired a full-time Director and 2 part-time Client Care Advocates as our client numbers keep increasing. We also have a part-time Community Outreach Educator as we are going into 4 different schools doing education, every week. We have 3 new programs starting at the first of the year: Car Seat certified technician, Love and Logic parenting classes, and an abortion healing aftercare program. We are a dream team that's on fire and we won't stop serving the community!
Together, we can reach this $10,000 milestone and make an even greater impact in our community.

Can’t tell you how thankful we are to have volunteers and groups that reach out to see what our needs are. These sweet ladies (minus 2 as they escaped the picture) from the Ladies Life Group at Graces Community Church spent last evening volunteering at the Center, working in the Boutique, making new intake packets, and more. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! 🙏 ❤️🙌🏼👍🏻

Today is our Gifts of Grace event and we have tickets left. If you know some in need of a little help getting Christmas gifts, call the Center at 5073722111.

We still have tickets left and would love to fill up the Center as we have many gifts of grace to give. Please share, just need to call the Center to get a ticket time. This is open to all of the community, not just our clients, who are in need of some assistance with getting Christmas gifts. We have toys, games, women's clothing, kids clothing from infant to size 12Y. We will also have some sweet Elves here wrapping the gifts.
