Great coverage of local anesthetic on the upper and lower arch is critical on the very beginning before incision.Preemptive analgesia does help with Gabapentin, OxyContin and/or Tylenol! Know the people who does a great job....and let them know without holding back.

Addisonian crisis is a medical emergency triggered by infection, stress like surgery if patients are on long term steroids.

When irrigating during bone reduction, do not give 50cc bolus fluid. Why!? Aspiration is likely requiring hospitalization.The anesthesia team is only as good as the surgical team.
