Worthington Civic Center

Worthington Civic Center Community Complex which is home to several businesses and civic organizations. The Worthington Civic Center is located in the old Worthington Jr. Sr.

High School in Worthington, Pennsylvania. The center is governed by a board of directors. Three board members are selected from the Borough of Worthington and three from West Franklin Township. The center is home to many businesses and organizations such as The Worthington Community Library, The Armstrong Community Theater, Area Agency on Aging Senior Center, and other businesses. The center rents out the gym, kitchen, and small building for events. For more information on renting the center for your event, contact Paul at 724-664-6316.

🎓 Attention Worthington & West Franklin Families! 🎓
We are proud to announce that applications are now open for the Albert B. Croyle Scholarship, created in honor of Mr. Croyle’s many years of service to our community.

This scholarship supports a graduating senior from Worthington Borough or West Franklin Township who will be continuing their education at a college, university, trade, or technical school.

💙 Award: Minimum of $500
📍 Eligibility:
• Must be a graduating senior
• Must reside in Worthington Boro or West Franklin Township
• Must be accepted to an accredited college or trade/technical program

📝 What’s required?
A completed application packet plus a one-page personal statement about your chosen field of study, career goals, and how community service has shaped your life.

📬 Deadline: April 1📬
Applications must be delivered to the WWFJPRA Office – 218 E. Main St., Building A, Room #1, Worthington, PA 16262

December 2nd the Senior Center Lunch Program through Armstrong County Area Agency on Aging will be returning to the Worthington Civic Center.

Call 724-297-3668 (Worthington Office) or 724-822-1200 (Ron) by 11 am on Monday 11/30 to have your meal for 12/2.

60+ and interested in signing up for the $2.00 meals stop in and see Ron - Monday through Friday 8 am to 2 pm to register starting 12/1!

The center is home to many businesses and organizations such as Henry's Pest Control, Tropcal Hairadise, The Worthington Community Library, The Armstrong Community Theater, Area Agency on Aging Senior Center, Armstrong Business Solutions, Doctor's Offices and Family Psychological.
