To continue providing opportunities to improve the health of the community, the WRAC is in need of some critical repairs and renovations. Currently, the upstairs ADA-compliant entrance and ramp are unsafe for use. We are beginning the process of raising funds to repair this area, as well as the front entrance area.

We are reaching out to our community in hopes of raising a part of the funds needed for this project. Any donations are appreciated and will significantly impact the WRAC’s ability to serve the Wray community.

If you would like to donate but prefer a different method than the attached link, donations can be made in person at the WRAC or via Venmo (-1992). The WRAC's Venmo QR code can be found pinned to the top of our page, as well as on our website at www.wracofwray.org

We’re gearing up for our next can recycling crush! ♻️

Join us Sunday the 22nd at 9:00 AM as we tackle our growing pile of cans and turn them into support for our programs.

Want to lend a hand? We’d love to have you! Volunteers are always welcome, come for a little while or stay the whole time. Every bit helps!

Bring some gloves, closed toe shoes, a friend, and your energy, we’ll take care of the rest!

Last night at our Annual Meeting, we had the privilege of recognizing two incredible members of the WRAC Board of Directors as they retired from their board service.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Dusty DeLand and Javan Jones for their many years of dedication, leadership, and commitment to the Wray Rehabilitation and Activities Center. Their time, energy, and passion have helped shape the WRAC into the strong community organization it is today.

Board service is a true act of giving back, and we are so grateful for the impact they have made on the WRAC and our community. Please join us in thanking them for their years of service and wishing them the very best in the future!

Your contributions will always be a part of WRAC’s story.

Congratulations to One of Our Own!

The WRAC would like to congratulate our incredible Board Member, Karla Saffer, on recently earning her Master’s Degree in Integrated Health and Wellness!

Her dedication to improving the health and well-being of others is inspiring, and we’re so proud to have someone with her passion, knowledge, and leadership serving on the WRAC Board of Directors.

Please join us in celebrating this amazing accomplishment and the positive impact she continues to make in our community!

Congratulations to our Diabetes Care & Education Specialist, Karla Saffer, on earning her Master's Degree in Integrative Health and Wellness and her Graduate's Certification in Lifestyle Medicine.

While Karla's position remains focused in Diabetes, efforts are underway at Wray Clinic to robustly integrate health and wellness concepts in the services offered at the clinic. The intent is to offer patients resources, feedback, and accountability to self-determine their steps toward improved health. In large part one's health is influenced by a person's daily habits and lifestyle choices. This involves health eating, daily movement and exercise, quality and quantity of sleep, alcohol and to***co use, and very importantly, stress management. These elements play a strong role in preventing, mitigating, and managing chronic disease.

Clinic Health Coaching offers a safe space to discuss vision for health, explore tools and resources to reach or re-design goals, navigate barriers, learn through relapse and offer ongoing support in the journey toward improved health. Other services like nutrition education and Bio T hormone replacement are other services offered and partner well with Clinical Health Coaching.

Happy Pi(e) Day! 🥧

Our friends at the Wray Senior Center are celebrating 3.14 the best way possible… with a Pie Auction Fundraiser!

Come out, bid on some amazing homemade pies, and help support the seniors in our community. Even sweeter? Kitzmiller-Bales Trust will be matching the total amount raised, doubling the impact for this great cause!

The WRAC is proud to support organizations that make our community stronger for every generation. If you’re able, stop by, place a bid, and enjoy a little pie for a great purpose.

Let’s show up and make it a great day for our local seniors!
