Happy Thanksgiving to all of the wonderful Wyandotte Massage clients and your families. Although this holiday may look a bit different this year, I hope you're able to find many things in your life to be thankful for. I'm grateful and appreciative for all of you that have helped keep me going after the shutdown earlier this year. I wish you all a very happy, safe and healthy day filled with family, in person or virtual....and of course lots of turkey.

WHO'S READY FOR A MASSAGE?????

I'm opening back up on Wednesday July 1st. Everything has been deep cleaned and sanitized and is ready to go. I've missed seeing everyone and can't wait to reconnect again soon. It will sure be different for me around the office without my partner in crime Ellen, but I'm happy for her to enjoy a much deserved retirement and hope that she will get all the R & R, and wine, that she wishes for. I can't thank her enough, or Elayne, for every opportunity and the long list of things they have done for me over the past 18 years. It truly is a remarkably long list. They were both the best people to work for/with in my life. I'm extremely grateful for their friendship and wisdom and hope to continue Wyandotte Massage moving froward for a long time.

When coming in for an appointment, there will be a new health form to fill out asking questions regarding COVID-19. PLEASE cancel/reschedule your appointment if you have a temperature, a cough/sore throat, recent loss of smell or taste, if you've been exposed to someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days or for any reason you may feel would put me, my clients, or yourself at risk of getting the virus. I will cancel/reschedule your appointment if I am experiencing any of those as well. And if you experience any of those up to 14 days after your appointment please notify me so I can take the proper precautions and notifications that are required. We have all been forced into this new normal way of doing things and I hope we can work together to help and protect each other while getting back to massage. I will be completely cleaning the office after each appointment, which means I'm allowing for more than the usual time between clients. You will not need to wait in your car for a text prior to your appointment, unless you request that, but I do ask that you come at your appointment time, not early. That will allow for me to finish cleaning and the room to air out. With me there by myself, the chance of interacting with another client is slim if everyone comes at their appointed time. If you have any questions, please call the office prior to your appointment and I will address any concerns you may have.

That being said.....I can't wait to see you all again soon!

Great news!
Wyandotte Massage is reopening on July 1st. PPE and sanitizing supplies have been secured and the office is ready for massage. As I said earlier, we have always been an operation focused on cleanliness. Now we are laser focused. The goal is to keep everybody as safe as possible.

Good news!
I am retiring and turning the reins over to Kristine. She's been with SuccessUnlimited/ Wyandotte Massage since 2002. I would not have considered anyone else to take over. She will move the business forward and take great care of all of you. My suspicion is she will have to bring on help, because we gave, and she gives, the best therapeutic massage service to the Downriver community. I know you will be in good hands.

I tried to call as many people as possible. If I missed you, I apologize. I am grateful for your faith in me. I am grateful for all of you in my life. It is just time to move on to other challenges.

So. What can I say? The Governor's office has issued a statewide mandate to close until 4/1. There is some murkiness in the wording of the mandate as to whether we meet the definition of groups required to close, but honestly my only concern is not exposing anybody to this virus. So this is where I err on the side of caution. WE ARE CLOSED until this crisis has passed.

In the mean time, be well, check on your loved ones, be part of the solution and wash your dang hands. Thanks for your longtime support. Kris and Ellen😘

Hey all! I just wanted to touch base about the CoVid-19 as it relates to Wyandotte Massage. While Kris and I have always been a bit compulsive about keeping a clean environment in our office, we have added obsessive to the description.

We wanted to let you know that if we are feeling unwell we will cancel scheduled appointments until we are feeling better. Remember not every sniffle is Covid-19, but we will always err on the side of caution.

If we have to close the office for a period of time, we will notify all scheduled clients and post to Facebook.

For your part, if YOU are feeling unwell, please cancel your appointment.
Seriously. We won't mind. Really.

If you are social distancing, we understand. We will get you back on the schedule when we are on the other side of this.

Please take care of yourselves and each other. Check on neighbors and loved ones who live alone.

And please, wash your hands. And then wash them again😊

Happy New Year! I wanted to take a moment to wish you all the very best in 2020. I also want to take this opportunity to thank each of you for your ongoing support and faith in Wyandotte Massage. It has been a crazy 18 months. Elayne's retirement, a name change, a crazy office relocation in the middle of the winter....

I am hopeful for a calmer 2020, where Kristine and I can focus on what we do best...reducing pain and stress and being that temporary haven from the world.
