In early spring the environment becomes cool, damp, and heavy. These same qualities can show up in the body as sluggish digestion, low energy, congestion, or feeling a little “stuck.”

Food can help restore balance.

Some foods that naturally support this seasonal shift include:

Leafy greens
Their slightly bitter quality helps clear stagnation and support digestion.

Radishes + asparagus
Classic early spring vegetables that help the body feel lighter and support circulation.

Warming spices
Ginger, black pepper, turmeric, and cinnamon help awaken digestion after the heavier foods of winter.

In Ayurveda, spring is a time to favor foods that are lighter, warming, and gently stimulating for digestion as the body clears excess Kapha from winter.

When we eat with the season, the body often feels clearer, lighter, and more energized.

Your body isn’t separate from the season you’re living in.

As the environment changes, your body changes too. Our energy levels, digestion, mood, and even motivation can shift with the time of year.

Seasonal practices simply help us respond to those changes instead of pushing against them.

Early spring often brings qualities that feel heavy, slow, and stagnant.
Practices that add warmth, movement, and breath help bring the body back into balance.

Rhythmic movement and energizing breath help stimulate circulation to help “clear the fog”.

Practicing with the season supports the body’s natural rhythm and often helps us feel clearer, lighter, and more energized.

What has your body been asking for lately?

You’ve done breathwork in class but have you done 9D Breathwork?

9D Breathwork is something entirely different.

This experience combines guided breathwork, music, frequency-based sound, and spatial audio through headphones to create a fully immersive journey.Instead of thinking about the breath, you’re guided into it.

As the breath deepens, the body begins to release what it has been holding — stress, emotion, mental noise.
People often leave feeling:
• lighter
• clearer
• deeply relaxed
• emotionally reset
It’s powerful work, but it’s also incredibly supportive.

Come take a journey with your breath!

Yoga…

Not just stretching.
Not just a workout.
For nervous system regulation.

Your nervous system controls how you respond to stress, recover from effort, affects quality of sleep, has influence on digestion, and more.

Most of us are living in constant “go mode”.
Yoga teaches the body how to shift gears.

Through breath, controlled strength, and intentional pauses, you move from fight-or-flight into rest-and-restore — without collapsing your energy.

Why this matters:

For moms:
You’re constantly responding. Managing. Holding everything.
Yoga gives your system a reset so you’re not running on adrenaline. It helps you respond instead of react.

For dads:
Pressure to provide. To solve. To stay steady.
Regulation builds patience, clarity, and strength that isn’t reactive — it’s grounded.

For athletes:
Performance isn’t just about pushing harder.
Regulated nervous systems recover faster, coordinate better, and reduce injury risk.

For recovery:
Healing doesn’t happen in survival mode.
When the nervous system feels safe, tissues repair, inflammation lowers, immune system responds, and sleep improves.

Strong body.
Steady breath.
Calm mind.

This is how we stay steady when life speeds up.

In March the light lingers a little longer. The air begins to shift. We feel the quiet nudge to move, to clear, to begin again — even if the full bloom hasn’t arrived yet.
In Ayurveda, this time of year carries the heaviness of late winter melting into early spring. It can feel foggy, sluggish, even emotional. In astrology, we move toward the Spring Equinox — a moment of equal light and dark — reminding us that balance is not static, it’s something we practice.
This month is about gentle clearing.
Clearing the body.
Clearing the breath.
Clearing the mind so we can see forward again.
And we have some beautiful ways to do exactly that.

Late winter into early spring is where consistency wins.

Growth is still beneath the surface.
Roots are strengthening.
Systems are recalibrating.
Energy is quietly building.
This is the in-between season
where you don’t see the results yet…
but everything is forming.

Consistency now is what will make spring feel powerful.
Not extremes.
Not “I’ll start Monday.”
Not waiting until you feel motivated.
Just steady showing up.
You,
Breath,
Movement,
Strength,
Again and again.
That’s how you build momentum that lasts.

Our Spring Special will support exactly that:
🌿 Returning students:
Your first month of reinstated membership is 100% FREE
with a 4-month signed commitment.
🌿 New students:
Your first month of membership is 1/2 OFF
with a 3-month signed commitment.
Option to pause or cancel any time after your signed commitment period.
This is the season to build beneath the surface.

If you’ve been feeling off lately… this might be why.

Late winter in Texas can feel heavy.
The damp mornings.
The pollen.
The gray skies.
The slow starts.

In Ayurveda, it’s Kapha season, but all you really need to know is this:
It’s the time of year when things feel thick.
You might notice:
• more sinus congestion
• allergies ramping up
• low motivation
• cravings for comfort
• emotional heaviness
March is usually the peak of it.

The solution isn’t more sleep or more comfort.
It’s circulation.
Here’s what actually helps:
• Warm, spicy foods (ginger tea is simple and powerful)
• Dry brushing for stimulation
• Stronger, steady movement. Yes, even when you don’t feel like it
• Breathwork that clears and energizes
• Cleaning out a drawer, a closet, your inbox, action creates momentum

Get ahead of the sluggish energy late winter early spring can bring.
Move your body.
Clear your breath.
Build a little heat.
That’s how we transition into spring strong.

Chaturanga is where we see people get hurt… and where we see people get SO discouraged.

Because we just do it, and then the body does what it has to do:
elbows wing out, belly drops first, shoulders take over, low back gets zero support.

Here you can you see the flop 😅.
And then the shift that actually builds strength:
knees down + tops of the feet
and a slow, controlled lower with the elbows tracking back (not flying out, not death-gripping in).

This is not the “easy way.”
This is the way we learn support.

Chaturanga is a great teacher of body awareness. It allows us to learn to listen without judgement because quality of practice, how it feels in the body, matters! Strength grows when we are supporting self.
