A Simple Strategy for Smoother Moments

Instead of asking, “What do you want?”
Try offering two clear choices.

Example:
“Do you want juice or water?”
“Shoes first or backpack first?”

Choices can reduce frustration and increase communication, especially for children still building language skills.

Small adjustments can make a big difference.
