Wynne Apothecary

Wynne Apothecary Wynne Apothecary is a family owned and operated business that has served the area for 50 years. The business was established in 1964, by Mr. Manning, Ms. Ms.

Joe Manning, to provide service and convenience to patients seen at the new medical clinics located on Falls Blvd. The first employees of the store were Mr. Bertha Tuggle and Mr. James West, Pharmacist. The original products and services offered included gift items, over the counter items, prescription drugs, home delivery and 24 hour service. The Apothecary moved to its present location, inside the Jacobs Clinic, on Feb. 1, 1976. Debbie Smith joined the staff in June, 1976. Gene Boeckmann, after the death of Mr. Manning, took over the pharmacy in 1985, and has carried on the commitment of providing the highest quality, cost effective care for the customers. After obtaining his doctorate, Gene, one of twelve children in his family, returned to Wynne. Customers would always ask, “What’s his name?” Wynne Apothecary became the “What’s his name pharmacy?” Even today, customers will come in to the pharmacy and ask, “Is what’s his name here?” You may not remember his name, but you will remember the service you receive at Wynne Apothecary. Wynne Apothecary continues to grow and excel by meeting the changing needs of our customers and continuing to deliver the same high standard of customer service. At our pharmacy, we believe in a holistic approach in healthcare. Natural botanicals, vitamins and herbs can play a key role in preventing many health problems as well as complementing traditional drug therapies. Dr. Boeckmann has considerable expertise in the area of complementary medicine. For over six years, he has been helping both women and men of all ages with hormone and age related symptoms.
