Axia Women’s Health providers along with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine continue to support the judicious use of acetaminophen in pregnancy when needed.

Acetaminophen remains safe to use when taken as directed for pain or fever during pregnancy. The most rigorous studies show no causal link between acetaminophen use and autism.

As with any medication, it’s best to use the lowest effective dose for the shortest amount of time and to consult with your Axia Women’s Health provider before taking any new medication. About Our Practice

McConnell & Associates OB/GYN is a member of the Axia Women’s Health network, the largest group of women’s health providers in the U.S., focusing on creating a more caring, connected, and progressive healthcare community.

Our physicians deliver and perform surgery at Lankenau Medical Center, but patients can be seen for all aspects of their care at any of our three locations in Lankenau, Paoli, or Edgmont. Patients with emergencies can generally be seen within 24 hours at one of our three locations.

Drs. Finnegan and Devine perform advanced robotic surgery, as well as laparoscopy and virtually all other gynecologic surgery. Drs. McConnell, Peden, and Belden perform minimally invasive surgery, as well as most other benign gynecologic surgery. We also welcome patients who will or may require difficult or challenging cesarean sections.
