CHRISTMAN, ANNA T.
FREDERICA-Anna “Terri” Christman, 93, of Frederica, passed away in her home December 30, 2025, following a cancer diagnosis in 2024. Born Anna Theresia Johnson in Buffalo, New York to immigrant parents of Sweden and England, she spent over fifteen years inspiring young minds as an elementary art school teacher. Along with her parents, Charles and Eleanor Johnson, she was preceded in death by her brother Richard; her son Keith; her sister Sonja; and her husband of 67 years, Everett.

Anna’s artistic talents blossomed early and continued throughout her life. She graduated from East Aurora High School in 1951 where she joined the art club and was art editor for her class yearbook. She credits a teacher for seeing her talent and pushing her in the right direction. After high school she attended Buffalo State Teacher College part-time while working and living with an aunt. A few years later Anna met an enlisted US Air Force airman, Everett Christman, and they married in 1956. Together they raised two children and over the years lived in New York, Japan, Massachusetts, and finally Delaware. At the age of 43, Anna earned her teaching degree from Delaware State College with recognition in Who’s Who Among Students for 1974-75 and membership in Alpha Kappa MU Honor Society. She became a full-time art teacher for Ceasar Rodney School District making her rounds to the different elementary schools every week. She worked tirelessly for her students and outside the classroom, creating artistic displays in schools and in the community, finally retiring in 1990. Throughout her post teacher years, previous students, all grown up, would recognize her out in public and stop to chat. In her free time, Anna loved painting, sketching and photographing people and places, especially Delaware landscapes and wildlife. She and Everett enjoyed dinner parties and other social gatherings with friends, colleagues and new acquaintances. Her passion for the arts and her dedication to caring and advocating for her adult son will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Anna is survived by her daughter Kimberly Campbell of NC; her grandsons, Robert and Stephen Campbell of NC; two great-grandchildren, Bradley and Lilly; and siblings, Sue Wilson and Eileen Ballard of Buffalo, NY. We will forever honor the legacy of a courageous, resilient, free-spirited, amusing, beautiful woman and her precious stories growing up in downtown Buffalo.

The family will receive visitors Thursday January 15, 2025 from 3-4pm at Pippin Funeral Home and/or burial service on Friday January 16, 2025 at 1pm at Delaware Veterans Cemetery in Millsboro.

EDWARDS, CHRISTINA FAYECAMDEN-Christina Faye Edwards, 80, Known as Teeny of Camden Wyoming, Delaware, passed peacefully ...

EDWARDS, CHRISTINA FAYE
CAMDEN-Christina Faye Edwards, 80, Known as Teeny of Camden Wyoming, Delaware, passed peacefully on January 5, 2026, after a long battle with dementia. Born on April 20, 1945, in Ovapa, West Virginia, she was the beloved daughter of the late Earl Murphy and Annie Ivy Ford.

For 66 years and three months, Christina shared a steadfast and loving marriage with her husband, Walter Smith Edwards. Together they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and hard work, raising three children—David Larry Edwards (deceased), Diana Mae Hicks, and Loretta Lynn Brower (deceased). “Teeny” was the heart of her family, always putting others before herself. Whether tending to her seven acres, mowing, hauling firewood, or caring for those in need, she embodied strength and kindness in equal measure.

A woman of tireless energy, Christina found joy in both the everyday and the extraordinary. She was an avid card player who loved the company of friends and family gathered around the table. A talented painter, her treasured artwork captured moments of her life and love—most memorably, a painting of her husband and their dog Penny. Her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ guided her, and she now rests peacefully in heaven alongside her children and family gone before her.

Christina is survived by her devoted husband, Walter; her daughter, Diana; her brother, James Murphy; and an extensive family tree of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren who will carry her memory with them.

Services celebrating Christina’s life will be held Friday, January 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, Delaware, where viewing will be from 12:00 noon until service time. Burial will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery, Sandtown.

Wow—what a woman, what a life. Her love, laughter, and hard work have left an indelible mark on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

WILSON, THERESA ANN
FREDERICA-Theresa Ann Wilson, 76 of Frederica, passed away peacefully at home on January 4, 2026. She was surrounded by family. Theresa was also known as Terry to many friends and family.

She was born in Wilmington to the late Harry and Sara Bell Dear & Theresa Herron. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Wilson and a brother, Franklin (Buddy) Dear.

Terry is survived by a son, Bruce Patricella and a daughter, Shannon Patricella Wainwright of Magnolia; 8 grandchildren, Clint & River Wainwright of Frederica, Bruce III, Caitlyn, Ian, Kylie, Bryce, and Anastasia Patricella; a host of great-grandchildren; siblings, Harry Dear, Donald (Peewee) Dear, Frieda Edgar Brenda O'Neal, and Debbie Wright. We also can't forget Resee Cup, the Chihuahua, always Under the covers with her.

Theresa loved thrift store shopping and going on cruises with her daughter. She liked to go camping, fishing, sitting on the beach or going to the slots. We think she loved to play Greedy while sitting on the front porch more than anything.

Terry had a vibrant spirit and a few firm convictions; one of them was a simple absolute truth-Terry did not like or attend funerals, and she asked not to have one. She also did not like the cold weather. She would not come out of her pj's and leave the house if there was a chill in the air, so to honor her wish to be scattered with her husband, Michael Wilson, we have chosen to gather in the warmth of May to say our goodbyes. We have no doubt or so we hope that Michael was waiting with open arms, and it brings us comfort to know they will be together again.

All who knew her are welcome to attend and share their favorite or not so favorite memories on May 9, 2026, in N. Bowers Beach.
