LAMB, SANDRA SPRAGUE
MAGNOLIA-Sandra (Sandy) Sprague Lamb

Sandy was born in Dexter Maine August 15, 1944 and passed away December 16, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents Norma and Frederick Sprague and sister Barbara Ronco.

She is survived by her sister Betty Taylor from Belmont Maine; son Scott & Angela Smith from Denver CO, daughter Vicky and John Dodenhoff from Magnolia DE; grandchildren, Adam and Rebekah Smith from Denver CO; Brandon and Joshua Vacchelli from Oahu Hawaii; great grandchildren: Eliana, Jenessa and Mason Vacchelli; Journey Yuen and L.S. & A.S..

Sandy lived a full adventurous life. She was the first in her family to go to college earning both an Associates and Bachelors degree which led her to employment as a counselor within Delaware’s Prison system. After 20 plus years, she retired as a Senior Probation Officer. (Oh the stories she told!!)

After retirement, Sandy kept busy doing home improvement projects in her 100 year old home which she took great pride in. She enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling and the Philadelphia Eagles Football Team, however shared no love for the Dallas Cowboys!! Nothing ever put such a big smile on her face as spending time with the great grandchildren. This year on Thanksgiving, she helped 4 of her 6 grandchildren decorate her last Christmas tree. She was never so happy watching and dictating where holes needed to be filled!

Sandy’s FAVORITE time of the year was always Christmas. Her children and grandchildren will always remember the time Sandy put on a FULL Christmas extravaganza in the middle of July. Multiple trees, garland and overflowing stockings galore to celebrate all the Christmases missed over the years with family.

Although she was loved and will be greatly missed, we are grateful she is no longer suffering and is now at peace. At Sandy’s request, there will be no local services and she will be laid to rest beside her mother at Crosby Neal Funeral Home in Dexter Maine. Online condolences may be made via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.

TAYLOR, RAYMOND
DOVER-I regretfully share the news of the passing of my best friend and very dear husband of 51 years, Raymond Taylor, the morning of December 15, 2025, at the age of 73. Raymond was born in 1952 to Roscoe and Florene (first given name “Ethel” and maiden name “Tackett”) Taylor. Raymond was the eldest of five children. He grew up in the coal-mining area of Pike County, Kentucky, where he learned to play trumpet and excelled in his studies. After graduating as valedictorian of Phelps High School Class of 1970, he was accepted to the Big Sandy campus of Ambassador College, where I met him and fell in love with him. We married on June 5, 1974, following our college graduation. We were sent out to serve the Worldwide Church of God and then Grace Communion International churches in Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas, West Virginia, and Delaware. Later in his work life, Raymond worked for Marketplace Ministries as a chaplain in the workplace and as a chaplain for Delaware Hospice. Raymond loved pastoring, giving sermons with much storytelling and good humor, referring to his congregations as “family”. We have two children, who periodically sang with us in church activity nights or for special music. We enjoyed hosting dinners with church members, going to musical shows, and camping, hiking, sightseeing and as a family in all the beautiful places we were blessed to be sent. Raymond never forgot his eastern Kentucky roots and delighted in Appalachian, history, culture and foods along with injecting self-deprecatory humor related to the regional stereotypes. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Randall. He is survived by his widow, Cynthia (Cindi) Taylor, along with our son Aaron Taylor (Christine), our daughter Amber Scott (Jon), brothers Roderick Taylor (Dorcas) and Russell Taylor (Sharon), sister Priscilla Linge (Bill), six grandchildren (Aiden, Penelope, Fiona, Gwendolyn, Lucy and Drew) and several nephews and nieces. We are pleased he is no longer suffering and in heaven with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

FIBELKORN, BRENT RAY
HARTLY-It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the passing of Brent Ray Fibelkorn of Hartly. He showed great dignity, courage and strength during his recent illness but it wasn’t enough. Brent lost his battle on December 14, 2025.

Brent worked most of his life in construction, working his way up from Heavy Equipment Operator to Superintendent on heavy highway projects throughout Delaware and Maryland. He always put safety first for those that worked with him.

He loved deer hunting, bay fishing and boating. He was quite the outdoorsman. He got great pleasure from his garden and blackberry patch.

Brent loved his family and would do anything for them. He could fix anything. He was lovingly called “MacGyver” by his twin sister.

His legacy will live on in his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Brent had a soft spot when it came to our furry pets, treating each one like the valuable family member they were.

He will be deeply missed by his family, many friends and all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life for Brent will be scheduled at a later date.
