In this case, we removed textured breast implants that had been in place for over 10 years and replaced them with smooth gel Natrella implants by Allergen Aesthetics.

To help improve support and positioning, a capsulorrhaphy (known as the “internal bra”) was also performed 🙌

At Berks Plastic Surgery, we have an in-office ultrasound machine, which allows us to evaluate implant integrity without sending patients elsewhere.

We typically recommend ultrasound screening every 2 years, starting around year 5 after implantation- even if everything feels fine!!

It’s not about fear. It’s about staying informed and catching changes early. 😁👍
