🙌 What a God We Serve! 🙌
We are overflowing with gratitude and praise today! Because of the incredible outpouring of support from the people of God, we didn’t just meet our goal....we CRUSHED IT!
We give all glory to the Lord for His perfect provision and timing. We also want to sincerely thank each and every one of you who prayed for this need, shared our post, and gave so generously. Your faithfulness and obedience were used by God in a powerful way.
This was a beautiful reminder that when God’s people come together, needs are met and His work moves forward. We are truly humbled and encouraged by the love shown to this ministry and to the men we serve.
We’ll continue to keep everyone updated as the work is completed, but for now, thank you again for standing with us, believing with us, and supporting this mission.
Praise the Lord! What a blessing you all are! ❤️🙏

🚨 Urgent Need at the HomePlace 🚨
We’re facing an unexpected heating issue at the HomePlace farm. Our boiler system is down while we wait on parts and a required safety inspection of our propane system.
Here’s the most important thing first: our men are safe and warm.
Temporary housing with heat is in place, the repair labor has been volunteered, and space heaters are strategically positioned to protect the property and prevent frozen pipes.
The total cost to resolve this is about $2,000.
We prayed specifically over this need—and God answered quickly. 🙏
Forest Valley Free Will Baptist Church stepped up in faith and gave $1,000, meeting half the need immediately.
Now we’re asking the people of God across the Miami Valley to help us finish strong.
If everyone gives a little, $25, $50, $100, we can quickly raise the remaining $1,000 and keep the HomePlace protected while repairs are completed.
This isn’t just a building, it’s a place where lives are being restored and the Gospel is lived out daily.

Would you prayerfully consider giving today?
Thank you for standing with us, praying with us, and being part of how God provides through His people. ❤️
This week, the guys from The Jeremiah Tree had the incredible honor of bringing Christmas joy to the residents of United Rehabilitation Services of Greater Dayton. We were able to share the blessing of Christmas with 80 adults with intellectual disabilities, and their joy was absolutely contagious. Their smiles, laughter, and excitement reminded all of us what this season is truly about.
What made this day even more special was watching our guys give back. They did the shopping, baked the cookies, and poured their hearts into serving others. Brother Kenny made lunch, and we are incredibly thankful for Greg Agee, who led this entire event with such care and excellence.
🎁 We are deeply thankful for our generous donors and the General Baptist House of Prayer, whose support made this day possible.
And yes… 🎅 Santa even stopped by to help spread the cheer!
This day blessed the residents at URS—but it also truly blessed us. God showed up in a big way, and we are so grateful to be part of a community where love, service, and joy are shared so freely.
✨ “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35)

🌧️⛵ A Day at the Ark! ⛵🌧️
The Jeremiah Tree guys are spending the day at the Ark Encounter, and we are having an absolute blast! The men are learning so much, laughing together, and seeing the Word of God come alive in a powerful way. What a blessing to watch their eyes light up and their hearts be encouraged!
A very generous donor made this day possible, and we are truly grateful. 🙌 The kindness shown to our men is something they will remember for a long time.
We’ll share the full story later about how the Lord opened every door to make this trip happen it’s a testimony worth telling! But for now, we just wanted everyone to know how thankful the guys are, and what a beautiful day the Lord has given us.
God is good — all the time! 🌈🕊️

God restores broken hearts, families, and futures. The story isn't over - He's still writing it. ✝️

Today we pause and remember that every good thing in our lives has the fingerprints of God all over it. We truly do have so much to thank the Lord for.
The Psalmist said it best:
“O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.” — Psalm 118:1 (KJV)
May your day be filled with peace, joy, and the goodness of God. Happy Thanksgiving!

Today's post of thankfulness comes from a resident of the Jeremiah Tree, Nick. Nick has grown tremendously in his relationship with God. His journey is on a great path towards an even closer connection with Jesus.

Nick Weaver has officially been to the School of Mamaw Gail 👨🍳📚😂
He watched a few of her cooking videos and showed up at the HomePlace tonight with an absolutely AMAZING family dinner for our guys! The smells in that kitchen… mercy. 👃🍽️
I’m proud of Nick — a Jeremiah Tree resident who’s working hard, learning new skills, and serving his brothers with a big heart and a full pan of food. That’s what growth looks like. 💛
God is good, and so is supper at the HomePlace tonight! 🙌🥘🧡

The Jeremiah Tree is a residential, full-time, life-intensive experience that points men trapped in addiction to the transformational power of Christ.
Our program
Our program is a 12-month, highly structured residential discipleship program with two phases, the TreeHouse and the GreenHouse. A number of our men come to us from prison and have nothing when they arrive. We know we cannot cause the change for our men, but we can and do give them the tools to be successful.
The TreeHouse is the recovery phase of our program. Here the men break old patterns and establish new patterns. The men spend several hours each day in Bible study. They also do community service, do their own laundry and chores, cook, keep tidy rooms with room inspections, have counseling, meet with their parole officers (if they have one), go to recovery meetings, establish a relationship with at least one mentor, etc. In nice weather the men play basketball or do other games outdoors. They mow the lawn and may help in the garden. Some of our men have never learned how to do those things, so there may be a big learning curve. Some of our residents are artists or musicians so we seek ways to give them creative outlets as well. Contact with friends and family is very limited at this point. Sadly, even family has often been a poor influence on our residents.
The GreenHouse is the transition phase of our program. Here the men get jobs and are given the tools they need to be successful when they re-enter society. We offer financial and other life-skills classes to help them. The men continue in Bible study, recovery meetings, counseling, meeting with mentors, household chores, have room inspections, etc. The men do give a small portion of their wages to the shared expenses of the ministry so that they learn how to keep current with bills and rent. This part of the program is currently being expanded and solidified.
No cost to residents
We do not charge our residents anything other than asking them to contribute to the shared expenses once they have jobs. We are completely dependent on the generosity of individuals, churches, and businesses who care about men trying to put their lives back together. We do not receive funds from the government, though most of our men do qualify for and get food stamps.
TreeHouse Champions
We have a very special group of people who are TreeHouse Champions. These people commit to donating at least $25 per month for the next 12 months. These generous people are of critical importance to the ministry. This steady monthly giving allows us to plan better. We would love to have you join this group of true champions for our ministry.
How else can you be involved?
Volunteer your time!
Volunteers are a huge part of this ministry. The staff and board in no way could do this without our many volunteers. We utilize volunteers to teach our classes, run errands, transport our residents, grocery shop, be mentors, etc. Volunteers can also be helpful in the office. We would love to have volunteers who can help with the newsletter, plan events like graduations or fundraisers, be computer support, help with social media, etc. Volunteers can also do home repair/upkeep tasks.
Pray!
We are in daily spiritual battles and would love to have more folks praying often for us.
Donate!
You can become a TreeHouse Champion or make a one-time monetary donation.
If you would like to donate material goods, we can always use: ½ inch 3 ring binders, white cardstock, Scrubbing Bubbles (only non-aerosol), paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap.
New Resident Totes are given to each man as he arrives. Inside the clear 16-18 gallon Tote we put 2 NEW twin sheet sets, 3 NEW matching bath towels, 3 NEW matching washcloths, 2 NEW matching hand towels, disposable razors, toothbrush and toothpaste, shampoo, body wash, and antiperspirant. An NIV Bible and flashlight are optional items.
