Good Morning and Happy Friday Crescent Family! I have a couple updates for you. First, we will be giving flu shots next week so facts sheets have gone out in the mail and we will be calling next week for consents. Second, I am very happy to announce that we are still completely negative with Covid testing for staff and residents! With that being said I am extremely proud of the staff and grateful to all of you for your patience. So the tremendous Friday news is that Monday, October 25th we can open back up for visitation. You may start calling to schedule your visit with medical records. All visits must be schedule and there will be a new attestation form for you to sign stating you understand you must keep your mask ON during your entire visit whether visiting inside or outside. We do not want to have to shut down visitation again and the safety of our residents is our top priority and we need your help to do that.
Thank you again for your patience and we can't wait to see you in to visit with your loved ones next week!!

Good Afternoon! I am more than happy to report that all staff and residents continue to test negative this week. All residents have been released from quarantine. Unfortunately, we are not yet open for visitation. We have very strict guidelines on timing and many regulations we must properly follow. We thank you for your continued patience and I will definitely make another post as soon as we are open to make visitation appointments.
I know this can be frustrating but this is truly for the health and safety of our family of residents and they are our top priority.

Good Evening everyone! I just wanted to give a quick update and spread some good news in the for the last two rounds of testing all staff and residents have tested negative!! We hope to move everyone out of quarantine the beginning of next week. I will let you know as soon as we open back up for in person visitation. I want to thank our amazing staff that have continued to be true heros during this entire pandemic showing up to work to care for our family of residents. We appreciate all the patience and support from the families. It is a huge accomplishment to be able to say in 20 months almost two years this is only the second time we have had residents be positive for Covid. We are just as ready as all of you are to be back out of quarantine and having our residents being able to visit with their loved ones.

Happy Friday! I just want to give an update on testing at Crescent. On Wednesday we had another roommate who was already in quarantine for being exposed to their previously positive roommate, test positive. That resident again was already in quarantine and will continue in quarantine.
The good news is that all other residents and staff have continued to test negative. We have 4 residents that will be coming out of quarantine this weekend!! We have three that will remain in quarantine because they tested positive at the later date.
We will still be closed to any visitation until further notice. I promise once we meet all the requirements to open visitation back up I will let you know. Until then please come have a window visit with your loved one, phone call or zoom visit as we know this helps brighten their spirits.

Good Evening!! I wanted to give a quick update on our testing. We tested all residents yesterday and unfortunately another one of our vaccinated residents tested positive. The good news is that this resident had already been in quarantine since 9/12/21 as they were the roommate of one of the residents that was positive last week. They were quarantined separately but unfortunately this resident came back positive yesterday. We also had a Part time staff member test positive but they had not worked in the building since 9/10/21 and will continue to quarantine through this week.
We will test all residents again on Thursday and I hope to bring you great news. I still feel we are doing well and caught this early and hope that we are able to keep it contained.
This is a stressful time we live in and I am grateful for our dedicated staff at Crescent. I also want to thank all the other dedicated health care staff out there that have endured this pandemic for the health and safety of our residents and community.

Happy Wednesday Crescent Family! I come to you with good news today. We have tested all residents again today and staff and all tests have come back negative!! We will continue to keep testing over the next couple of weeks and I will keep you updated. I pray I get to continue to report all negative! Thank you again to all of our families for your continued patience and support as we get through this episode. Also a huge THANK YOU to the staff who jumped quick to action to quarantine this last weekend and hopefully prevented any further spread! We have the most amazing team here at Crescent and I am so grateful for all of them. Until our next post everyone stay safe and healthy!!

Hello Crescent Family, it is with a heavy heart that I have to report that we have positive Covid cases in Crescent Health Care.
We currently have 4 vaccinated residents that have tested positive and 1 unvaccinated resident that has tested positive. Families of positive residents have already been notified. We also have 1 vaccinated staff member that tested positive before work this morning and was sent home to quarantine. Due to the timing and circumstances of this positivity we feel this likely has come from visitation. Unfortunately, due to the positive cases we have to close in-person visitation until further notice.
Our staff has worked very hard for our family of residents trying to avoid this happening again and considering that we are 18 months into this pandemic and we have been blessed this is only the second time we have had positive residents, I feel confident stating they have done an amazing job and worked very hard for our residents.
I feel we have acted quickly to get positive residents in quarantine and we are hoping to have kept this isolated to the one area of the building. We will be testing all staff and residents again in a couple of days and I hope to report back with excellent news.
I will keep you posted and please feel free to come for a window visit with your loved one or call tomorrow to setup a zoom call. We are always here to support and love on your family members we have been blessed to take care of but we know what a difference it makes for them to see your faces. If you have any questions or concerns please call the facility.

I would like to also take a minute to say THANK YOU to our amazing team at Crescent and report that we continue to test 100% negative for staff and residents!! This team has done and absolutely amazing job during all of this and I am extremely proud of all of you. That team also includes families coming in to visit and following precautions!! Due to EVERYONE following protocol I can continue to announce we are COVID FREE in this building and that is a HUGE accomplishment!
Thank you everyone, we couldn't do this without ALL of you!!

Good Afternoon Friends and Families! I hope you are all managing the heat and staying hydrated. We are trying to get residents outside in the early morning before the heat to enjoy some sunshine!! I wanted to let you all know that even though the State is opening back up nothing has changed for us in long term care. We are under a separate safe start plan than anyone else. So to answer a couple questions yes we ask you still call and make an appointment to visit loved ones. We have to safely manage how many people are in the building at a time to maintain infection control standards and we have to maintain designated visiting areas so we still ask you call and make an appointment. Anyone over 18 can now call and make a scheduled visit inside. We also must wear masks during all visits, again this is for the safety of our building of residents. The staff are still wearing goggles and masks during resident care. We are making progress and we can't wait for the day they tell us we can open our doors without giving everyone the once over every time asking the same questions and taking your temp but until then we GREATLY APPRECIATE your continued patience and compliance for the safety of your loved ones. Happy Friday Crescent Family! Just thought I would make a quick check in to let everyone know we are still maintaining all Negative Covid testing thanks to our awesome dedicated staff!!! I also wanted to say HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all our Mom that live here, work here and all of you out there that have been blessed to be called Mom :) and also Happy Mother's Day and Welcome to the club to all our expecting Mom's out there!
