Did you know those who drink 3 or more glasses of soda each day have 62% more tooth decay, fillings and tooth loss than others?

What about sugar-free soda?
While sugar-free drinks will not directly lead to cavities, the acidity of soft drinks or carbonated beverages can cause erosion of tooth enamel. Tooth enamel is the outermost protective layer on your teeth. Damage to this enamel can invite cavities and add in poor oral hygiene.

What should I drink?
Good old tap water! We are lucky in Yakima County to have fluoride in our water.

Today, we are celebrating the anniversary of Dr. Riehl’s license! He has now been a licensed dentist and serving his hometown for 27 years.
