Giving back to the community 💙

At our Adult Day Center, we truly enjoy engaging with the community in meaningful ways. This involvement can take many forms, such as hosting a community party, welcoming volunteers to share information, teach us new skills, or put on a performance. We believe that building connections with our neighbors and local organizations is essential to creating a stronger, more supportive community.

This month, one of the ways we connected our participants with the community was by giving back. They prepared bags of essential items to donate to the YWCA in Yakima, an organization that provides vital services to women and families in need. While doing so, we were able to talk about the importance of these programs and the impact the YWCA makes in our community.

By giving back, we not only supported a worthy cause but also enriched the lives of our participants and staff. We're proud to be a part of this wonderful community and look forward to our next opportunity to give back!

Sherri brings a sweetness and steady positivity that brightens every home she enters. Her caring nature shows in the way she supports both her clients and her team—always thoughtful, always dependable, always giving her best.

She takes her work to heart. When she has to call out, she genuinely feels awful, and whenever she can, she steps up to pick up extra shifts to keep clients supported. Her dedication has especially shone through with a client who has been more difficult to engage, where her patience and compassion has made a remarkable difference.

Clients welcome her warmly wherever she goes, and she engages with them in a way that feels natural, comforting, and sincere. Her presence makes the day lighter for everyone around her.
