There’s something sacred about preparation.

At Peach Tree Retirement Center, our Writers Ambassadors gathered around tables filled with color — bright tissue paper in joyful pinks, bold reds, sunshine yellows, and brilliant blues. Ribbons curled and danced across the table like celebration in motion. Little kraft envelopes were carefully tucked into baskets. Every piece was touched by hand. Every fold was intentional.

They weren’t just assembling gifts.

They were wrapping love.

For the first 500 participants of the Pages & Petals Young Writers Adventure, our Mother’s Day gifts are being prepared with care that spans generations. Tissue paper fluffed to feel like petals. Ribbons curled with patience. Baskets overflowing with color, creativity, and thoughtfulness.

This is what makes the Pages & Petals Young Writers Adventure more than an event.

It’s hands that have lived a lifetime pouring encouragement into young dreamers. It’s stories preparing space for new stories. It’s wisdom tying ribbons around possibility.

Join the then versus now, keeping the generation gap at bay. Writing Contest for kids K through ninth grade, every participant in the writing contest recives a special gift to give to a loved one.
