We’re incredibly honored to have played a role in the recent improvements to the Yakima County Courthouse.

Hearing Chief Justice Debra Stephens of the Washington State Supreme Court recognize the importance of this work is a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish together. These upgrades aren’t just about the building — they’re about creating a safer, more welcoming space for everyone who walks through those doors.

“I have not seen anything this well done,” Stephens said.

Exciting progress at CBHA's new Pasco Clinic!

Aldrich + Associates are hard at work lifting the impressive and sustainable Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) panels into place. These panels are no small feat – they're 7" thick, up to 55 feet long, and can weigh as much as 12,600 pounds!

We're using CLT for the roof deck over the Galleria to capture that stunning Heavy Timber look. Stay tuned for more updates as we bring this beautiful design to life!

It's been a whirlwind of holiday cheer for the KDA Architecture team! The festivities kicked off last week at the AIA Central Washington Annual Holiday Party, where our very own founding partner, Rod Knipper, received a prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award! We couldn't be prouder of his incredible contributions to the architecture community.

This week, the celebrations continued with our own office holiday party, and let's just say the blueprints for a good time were definitely on point! From tables filled with delicious food to non-stop laughter echoing through the room, it was a night filled with joy, connection, and a healthy dose of holiday spirit.

We're raising a glass (or two) to our amazing team, the incredible talent we get to work with every day, and the inspiring work we've accomplished together this year. Here's to a season of joy, peace, and good design! Cheers!
