In 2024, 248 intended home births were recorded.

That’s the highest number since tracking began in 2006

Up from 234 in 2023

For perspective, only 50 home births were recorded in 2014

While home birth may be right for some families, it’s important to plan with a trained provider and ensure access to emergency care if needed.

Mama labored beautifully and welcomed her into her hands just before lunch time!! Congratulations mama, daddy, and big sister! She is absolutely perfect!!

Mama got her wish and her amazing girl after a swift labor and birth. Proof that patience is every. thing. Congratulations to this 2nd time 💚Little Things💚 family!! We are so proud of you!

Pregnancy and infant loss are often hidden in silence, but they are far more common than many realize. 1 in 4 pregnancies ends in loss, and behind every statistic is a story of deep love and unimaginable grief.

To the mothers, fathers, siblings, grandparents, and loved ones who have endured this loss... we see you. Your babies matter. Your grief is real. Your love is forever.

We believe in creating space for remembrance, healing, and open conversation. Whether your loss was recent or many years ago, whether you share your story or hold it quietly. You are not alone.

I just wanted to give you a quick update on my 2026 availability. I have a couple empty spots to fill in if you already are pregnant. But, if you're hoping to work with me for your homebirth, please keep in mind when planning or estimating your due date that I won’t be taking clients with due months in July and August!

If your estimated due date falls outside of those months — amazing! I’d love to support you. 💚

🌸✨ Happy National Midwifery Week 2025! ✨🌸

This week is all about celebrating the incredible work of midwives! I feel so grateful to be part of such an amazing community. I just returned from an inspiring peer review session with fellow midwives, where we shared stories, wisdom, and grew together through education. 💕👩‍⚕️

As a homebirth midwife, I am passionate about providing personalized, empowering care for families as they bring new life into the world. There's nothing quite like witnessing the strength, love, and joy that fills a home during a birth. 🌿💫

Thank you to all the midwives who continue to support, teach, and inspire me, and to every family who trusts me to be a part of such a sacred and transformative experience. 🤍✨
