πŸ’š Employee Highlight: Maggie Anderson

Today we are celebrating Maggie Anderson from our Billing Department. Maggie has been part of the LCBHS family for more than 30 years, and her compassion and dedication shine through in everything she does.

Why is mental health important to Maggie?

β€œMy mom was bipolar. She had support from her doctor, family, and friends. She had a good life.

I have worked at LCBHS for over 30 years and have seen the difference the supportive community this facility and staff can provide for our clients.”

Maggie’s experience reminds us how powerful support, understanding, and community can be. We are grateful for her heart, her commitment, and her decades of service to our clients and our team.

πŸ’š Thank you, Maggie, for all that you do for LCBHS and for the people we serve.

🏒 Facility Highlight: The Cedar Village Vestibule 🏒

One of the most meaningful spaces in our building is the vestibule that connects Cedar Village to the rest of the facility. This area is more than a walkway. It is a bridge between the past and the present.

The vestibule represents connection and continuity. It honors the history of Cedar Village while opening the door to new opportunities for care and community. Every time someone walks through this space they are reminded that growth and progress can coexist with tradition.

We are proud of this thoughtful design that brings people together and strengthens our mission of providing compassionate care.

🌍 Honoring Martin Luther King Jr. Day 🌍

Today we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. His words remind us of the power of service and compassion:

β€œLife’s most persistent and urgent question is, β€˜What are you doing for others?’”

Serving others is not only an act of kindness. It is also a way to nurture our own mental health. Helping someone in need, volunteering, or simply offering a listening ear can create a sense of purpose and connection that strengthens emotional well-being.

On this day consider how you can care for others and yourself. Acts of service big or small can bring hope and healing to both the giver and the receiver.

🌟 Sunday Reflection: Setting Intentions for the Week Ahead 🌟

Sunday is the perfect time to pause and create space for clarity. Instead of rushing into the week, take a moment to ask yourself:

βœ… What do I want to feel this week?
βœ… What matters most to me right now?
βœ… What small steps can I take to move closer to my goals?

Setting intentions is not about perfection. It is about direction. When we start the week with purpose we give ourselves the gift of focus and peace.
