Luna took her last nap today. My baby girl, the heartbeat of my home, is gone.
She wasn’t just a dog — she was my shadow, my laughter, my reason to smile on days when I forgot how.

I still remember the first day I met her — that clumsy little pup who couldn’t even climb the couch but somehow climbed straight into my heart. She grew up on my chest, sleeping while I worked, waiting while I healed, loving me when I didn’t deserve it.

Every morning, she greeted me like I was her whole world. And today… that world ended.

I wrapped her in her favorite blanket — the one she used to steal every winter — and whispered, “You can rest now, Luna.”
Her eyes closed like she was just tired, not gone.

If you’ve ever loved a dog, you know — it’s not “just a pet.”
It’s your therapist, your best friend, your child with fur.
And when they go, a part of you goes too.

So please… if you’re reading this, say a small prayer for Luna.
Because somewhere beyond the clouds, I hope she’s running again — chasing butterflies, wagging that silly tail, and waiting for me at the gates of forever. 🕊️🐾
