WELLNESS WEDNESDAY
1. Foam Rolling | Great in between appointments, before & after working out and on rest days to alleviate day after soreness
2. Massage | my personal favorite…a massage every 4-6 weeks keeps those muscles loose and in a “maintenance” state. Don’t go 6 months in between appointments to where your body is at its breaking point.
3. Humidity | adding humidity into your home helps prevent illness transmission, hydrates your body, skin, and sinus pathway to prevent snoring and in turn gives you a better nights sleep. We’re not accomplishing anything if we’re sick and/or not sleeping
4. Water | Hydration is everything. Improves organ function, boosts energy, aids cognitive and muscle function, regulates temperature and transports nutrients throughout the body
5. Stretching | Get that body moving. Stretching improves flexibility, joint mobility, loosens muscle tension, relieves aches and pains from sedentary work, prevents injury, boosts circulation and improves mental health
6. Physicals | Even someone who is never “sick” can benefit from a yearly physical or well check. Sometimes we get so used to living with certain aches, pains, or anomalies that we disregard medical attention because we feel “fine”. Fine isn’t your best though. Go get that yearly check up or chiropractic adjustment to make sure your body is working its best. You only get one!
