Professional Massage Therapist & Gentle Scar Therapy Specialist Hi, I'm Barbie. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist and Gentle Scar Therapy Specialist.

I love helping each individual that walks through my door to enjoy better living by creating a calm environment, increasing mobility, reducing pain, and to love the skin they're in! I actually considered massage therapy in High School but as it wasn't really mainstream yet, I followed my parents pursuits into accounting for 25 years.....

After dabbling in a few other jobs, I came back to my "hands on" calling, 9 years ago. I couldn't be happier with my choice! Doing hands on Body Work which can create massive changes in people makes this the best job I could imagine. As a Specialized Gentle Scar Therapist, I am also able to offer specialized and unique treatment that help clients feel themselves again. I can treat new scars and even older scars, no matter how they were acquired. EVERY BODY is welcome and safe here. I am a kind, present, listening therapist who loves to follow through with my clients health journey, always striving for the best outcome while encouraging patience and willingness to find the right solutions. When I'm not working I also enjoy spending time with my family, walking on the beach, hiking, boating, gardening (vegetables & flowers) wood working, motorcycling, and my dogs. 🎶 Giving Tuesday | Celebrating 25 Years of Colum Cille Pipes & Drums 🎶

For a quarter century, we’ve brought Celtic music to life across New England — from marching the Orleans Fourth of July Parade, to ringing in the New Year at Chatham First Night, to performing at Harpoon Brewery events, to honoring loved ones at hundreds of memorials and funerals.

150+ students have learned piping and drumming through our band, and our community impact continues to grow.
But our drum corps is still playing on 25-year-old drums, and it’s time for an upgrade.

Last weekend I attended an AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association) class on Essential Oils for Massage. It was a very interesting and informative 2 day class! We went over 56 Essential Oils and their properties, what ailments they help with, and their chemistry!
