This seems to be happening several times per week lately, so I find it necessary to share this reminder - especially for myself because I continually find myself not addressing it for fear of making people angry. And it does not serve my business (or my income) to overlook. So - deep breath to calm anxiety - here we go:
CANCELLATION & LATE ARRIVAL POLICY
While I understand that life does happen, please understand that I am a solo practitioner running a business. Late cancellations, last minute cancellations, and no shows negatively affect my income - regardless of the reason it occurred. In order to cultivate clarity, and ultimately a sense of ease and peace, it is important to create this reminder of SWCC’s policies and by creating an appointment with SWCC you agree to honor them:
CANCELLATION POLICY
A 24 hour notice is required to change/cancel an appointment.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be required to pay a cancellation fee of 50% of the session fee.
Last minute cancellations or no call/ no shows will be responsible for the full session fee payable before rescheduling future appointments.
This also applies to appointments redeeming gift certificates: no call/no show and last minute cancellations will be applied thereby redeeming the gift certificate, or late cancellations will have half session fee deducted from the gift certificate balance, with balance being due upon usage of gc.
LATE ARRIVALS:
Time is not extended for late arrivals!!!
Sessions finish on time, and the full fee for the duration of the appointment scheduled will be due.
Price will not be reduced for a shortened session due to late arrival.!!!
For example, arriving 15 or 30 minutes late for an appointment booked as 90 minutes still requires full payment for the 90 minute session.
