Earthside Birth Services Earthside Doula Services offers birth and postpartum care for women in Southern Maine.

Interview:

Our services begin with an initial interview to ensure we can provide what you and your family need for comfort and support during labor and birth. Prenatal Visit and Birth Planning:

The Prenatal visit will be scheduled for between 30 and 32 weeks in your pregnancy. We will discuss in depth your expectations and hopes for the birth of your child as well as preferred comfort measures and strategy for labor. This is also time to discuss your written birth plan as well as going deeper into what you imagine your ideal birth to be. Birth Support and Postpartum Visit:

We will be on-call from the moment we begin working together. Once labor has begun we will arrive to be with you at your home and support and will continue throughout the entirety of the birthing process. After the birth of your child we will stay with you for a couple hours to ensure a smooth and comfortable transition and follow up with a visit at your home within the first week after birth.
