This week, the team from Edenbrook Yeadon Skilled Nursing Facility had the pleasure of hosting a Lunch & Learn at the main campus of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania!

We were honored to spend time with such an incredible group of dedicated social workers — sharing resources, discussing seamless transitions of care, and strengthening the partnerships that make a difference for patients and families every day. 🤝

At Edenbrook Yeadon, we believe collaboration is key to creating smooth, positive experiences from hospital to skilled nursing. Thank you to the Penn HUP team for your warm welcome and for the important work you do daily!

💘 Love was in the air at Edenbrook Yeadon! 💘

Our Valentine’s Day Social was filled with music, laughter, and sweet moments shared together. Residents enjoyed live entertainment, delicious cupcakes, and plenty of smiles at our festive photo booth! 📸🧁🎶

It was a beautiful day celebrating friendship, joy, and the love that makes our Edenbrook Yeadon family so special. ❤️

🛍️💙 Community Outing: Dollar Store Trip! 💙🛍️
Residents from Edenbrook Yeadon enjoyed a fun and successful trip to the local dollar store! 🚐✨
From seasonal decorations and sweet treats to goodies and little treasures, everyone had a great time browsing the aisles and picking out their favorite finds. 🛒🎉
Outings like these are more than just shopping trips — they’re opportunities for independence, social connection, and a little retail therapy! Seeing the smiles and excitement at checkout was the best part of all. 😊
We love getting out into the community and making everyday moments special. 💙

🌙✨ Lunch & Learn: Understanding Ramadan ✨🌙
At Edenbrook Yeadon, we gathered for a special Lunch & Learn all about Ramadan — a time of reflection, prayer, community, and giving observed by Muslims around the world. 💛
Our residents enjoyed learning about the meaning of Ramadan, including fasting from dawn to sunset, acts of kindness, and the importance of family and faith.
Some of the ladies even had the opportunity to learn how to respectfully wear a hijab (head scarf) — a beautiful cultural experience that sparked great conversation and lots of smiles! 🧕💫
We love creating opportunities to explore different traditions, ask questions, and celebrate diversity within our community. It was a wonderful afternoon of learning, connection, and cultural appreciation. 💙

🏔️🍬 Edenbrook Yeadon Olympic Games – Day 5: Rope Tow Engineer! 🍬🏔️
📅 Friday, February 13th
We closed out our Olympic week at Edenbrook Yeadon with teamwork, strategy, and a whole lot of fun! Friday’s event — Rope Tow Engineer — challenged our residents to work together just like a ski lift team on the slopes! 🎿💙
The number of successfully transferred candy canes in one minute became the team’s score.
Our top 3 team scores were added together to create Edenbrook Yeadon’s official Friday Olympic score! 🥇👏
✨ Transferring even one candy cane in a minute can be quite the challenge — but our residents are always up for it!
What an incredible week of Olympic spirit, laughter, and teamwork. We are so proud of everyone who participated! 💙❄️

🏔️❄️ Edenbrook Yeadon Olympic Games – Day 4: Mountain Groomer! ❄️🏔️
📅 Thursday, February 12th
The slopes were calling again at Edenbrook Yeadon, and this day our residents stepped into the role of Mountain Groomers! 🚜⛄ It’s was all about coordination, patience, and a steady (non-dominant!) hand!
When the timer sounds, we counted how many cotton balls made it into the bowl… then subtracted any that were dropped.
The top 3 highest scores were added together to create Edenbrook Yeadon’s official Thursday Olympic score! 🥇👏
It’s amazing to see the determination and laughter as everyone takes on the challenge. Who will groom their way to the top ? ❄️💙

The competition was heating up at Edenbrook Yeadon as our residents took on the winter-inspired challenge — Mogul Setter! ⛄🎿
The top 3 highest scores were added together to create Edenbrook Yeadon’s official Wednesday Olympic score! 💙👏
It’s all about focus, coordination, and a little friendly fun. Who mastered the moguls and stacked their way to the top? 🥇
