We are so grateful to Providence Animal Center for visiting Edenbrook Yeadon and bringing the joy of pet therapy to our residents and staff 💙🐶 The puppy cuddles, smiles, and laughter filled our building and truly made the day unforgettable.

This special visit also couldn’t have come at a better time as we celebrate Activities Professionals Week ✨ A huge thank you to our amazing Activities team for always finding meaningful, creative ways to enrich the lives of our residents — and for making moments like this possible.

At Edenbrook Yeadon, innovation and compassionate care go hand in hand. 💙
Meet one of our long-term care residents who experienced significant pain reduction and improved hand mobility through our advanced occupational therapy program. After receiving Pulsed Shortwave Diathermy treatments(PSWD), she was able to better tolerate range-of-motion exercises and complete daily hand hygiene without pain—a meaningful milestone in her quality of life.
This progress is a testament to our skilled therapy team, evidence-based care, and state-of-the-art rehab technology—all working together to help our residents feel their best every day.

This year, we created a very special award in memory of Kareema James, a beloved member of our Edenbrook family who tragically passed away last year. Kareema’s coworkers wanted to ensure her legacy of kindness and compassion lives on, and so the Heart of Caring Award was born.
This award recognizes a team member who demonstrates exceptional compassion and dedication, a true resident advocate known for their kindness, work ethic, and genuine passion for supporting residents, families, and coworkers.
We are proud to announce that the 2026 Heart of Caring Award goes to Tamika Gordon from Edenbrook Yeadon. It is so fitting that this first award in Kareema’s honor goes to one of her closest coworkers and friends, someone who loved her deeply and shares the same spirit of empathy and care that Kareema embodied.
