Yellow Springs Primary Care We are an independent primary care office in Yellow Springs. We are a full-service family practice focused on your total health and wellbeing.

We take most major insurances including Medicare and Medicaid. New patients are welcomed. Dr. Donald Gronbeck, an alumnus of Antioch College and Wright State University School of Medicine, is thrilled to practice family medicine in Yellow Springs. We opened our doors in May of 2014 and have grown with the support of this amazing community. At Yellow Springs Primary Care, we are always trying to evolve to better serve the needs of our patients. It is an honor to be trusted by so many people with such an important part of their lives.

We would like to thank you all for your continued patience and understanding. Given the number of calls we receive everyday, and the limited staff, please leave a very detailed message so that we are able to meet your needs as quickly as possible. Also, please contact your pharmacy and request they notify you when your prescriptions are available.

We are receiving many calls expressing concerns related to medical record requests. To date all medical records requested from another provider have been sent, as well as all medical records requested by a patient to be sent to another provider. If you have requested a personal copy of your medical record the invoices are available and you will be contacted this week.

We will upload the Medical Records Request form so that it can be printed, completed and mailed to our office. We are not legally able to release medical information without a signed document giving us permission to do so. Please make sure you provide the complete address to where you would like your medical records sent. We do have 30 days to process these requests, but we are averaging a 5-7 day turn around.

Yellow Springs Primary Care continues to push through challenging times and appreciates everyone’s support and patience.
The practice and staff continue to focus on patient care and demonstrating its full and complete commitment to taking care of our patients.
We cannot and will not respond to rumors, innuendo, or other assertions made on social media or anywhere else by non-YSPC individuals, that is, other than to say YSPC is not closed or shut down. Rather the office is seeing patients and all necessary licenses are active and in good standing with the governing authorities.

Dear All Patients,
We apologize for the delay in getting this out to you. Due to the unexpected recent events which have caused a delay in the delivery of patient care from our office.
We have been very limited in what we have been allowed to do, as we work through all of the administrative hurdles. We are working on getting medications refilled and getting referrals sent out. If you are calling the office, please leave a message. Staff is working on calling patients back and getting medication sent in to the pharmacies.

Dr. Donald Gronbeck founded Yellow Springs Primary Care. An alumnus of Antioch College and Wright State University School of Medicine, is thrilled to bring his family practice to the vibrant community of Yellow Springs. "I am opening a medical practice here, because I fell in love with this town when I was a student at Antioch College many years ago. I have been wanting to come back. I noticed a need for more doctors to provide medical care in town, from speaking to people in Yellow Springs and due to the closure of the Wright State family medical practice. I wish to bring a holistic approach to western medicine that complements all of the great non-traditional health care providers in Yellow Springs to provide the best care possible for the citizens of Yellow Springs."
