Our kiddos from the pre-school got in some early practice on Trick or Treating in their neighborhoods, by Trick or Treating with our residents.

Today was the start of Halloween Spirit Week. There was the resident SNF party, followed by a Staff Custom Contest.

Fun was had by all!!!

Sorry for the late post.

AL Week officially wrapped up on Friday of last week. AL Residents end the week with a sock hop lunch/dinner on Thursday the 11th and a relay race on Friday the 12th. In between, there was very competitive games of ‘Big Dollar Bingo.’

It was a great week where everyone (Residents & Staff) had a great time!

First day of Assisted Living Week and our residents became undercover agents. They tracked down staff with Nerf Guns. Had lots of fun and laughter! The competition was a great way to kick off this special week.

Today is National Hot Air Balloon Day. One of our residents, Annette H. (98yrs), took a hot air balloon ride in 1997. Her son just so happened to bring in a story she wrote about her experience when he noticed The Scoop’s snippet on National Hot Air Balloon Day. He said it was serendipitous. She was willing to share her story with you all (story in the pictures below). We hope you enjoy!

We ended National Skilled Nursing Home week with a ‘Big Dollar Bingo’ game. The competition was fierce but FUN! Annette H. was the big winner.
