In the Mexican tradition of Day of the Dead, is commonly believed that the spirits of pets and animals who have passed away come back on October 27 to visit their homes and families.
With this tradition, we celebrate their lives and their love that still lives within us. So, tonight I am remembering my beautiful pups that already crossed the Rainbow bridge. Their love is always present in my heart.
“Tonight, I turn on a light... a small but infinite flame, that travels beyond time and silences.
May this candle be a beacon in the distance, a gentle signal that touches your soul and whispers: Here I am, waiting for you.'
May the cempasúchil flower draw your path with golden petals, as if the earth itself opens its arms to receive you.
May the wind carry my voice to you, and may the Rainbow Bridge shine brighter tonight, for your little legs to follow the path of my love.
Come back, soulmate, not as a shadow, but as a light. I'm waiting for you right here... with the heart on fire.”
