It is National CRNA Week, and we want to thank all the CRNAs (like Andy, pictured below!) who help keep our OR operating!
Here are some facts about CRNAs that you may not have known:
💉They play a critical role in delivering safe anesthesia care before, during, and after surgery.
💉The entire process to become a CRNA typically takes 7-10 years, including education and experience, with the doctoral program taking about 3 years.
💉In rural hospitals (like us!) they are often the sole anesthesia providers.
CRNAs are critical to any healthcare system and are needed across all hospitals.
We are so grateful for the team who serves YCH! Join us in thanking them for all they do! ❤🥰
