Hodder Farenga

Hodder Farenga Hodder Farenga Funeral Home is family-owned and operated with over 125 years of funeral planning hist

The funeral service ideals in place since 1896 have now been passed to the 5th generation of the Farenga family. Sal Anthony, along with his brother Nicholas, seek to follow the family tradition of caring, and above all, listening to the needs and desires of families the Farenga’s serve. In 2004, the Farenga service extended to the Woodlawn and McLean Heights communities. Sal and Nick continue to implement the Farenga philosophy that has guided the services we have provided for over 125 years.

Grief Looks Like:

Feeling great one minute and
falling to pieces the next.
Avoiding things and people that
remind you of your loss.
Moving in and out of acceptance,
denial, bargaining, anger, and depression.
Losing interest in activities.
A desire to be alone.
Feeling like no one else can understand the magnitude of your loss.
Not getting over your loss quickly.
