This week's warm weather had us reminiscing about last summer's Graduation Ceremony in White Plains! πŸŽ“

It was a joyful celebration honoring our 29 grads with their well-earned diplomas. We were thrilled to welcome New York State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins who shared inspiring remarks with our students and families as our Keynote Speaker. We were also delighted to present Katherine Magnoli, Class of 1992, with our Alumni Award.

Congratulations to the Class of 2025 and their loved ones. We can't wait to see what's next for you!

We'd like to solve the puzzle, please!

In celebration of February's , our therapeutic recreation team hosted a -inspired game at .

The activity encouraged teamwork and problem-solving while helping to strengthen motor, cognitive and communication skills and also build meaningful connections.

Our children and young adults took turns spinning the wheel, guessing letters and cheering each other on along the way!

Happy !

For day, hosted an exciting Mario Kart tournament for our children and young adults - complete with tight turns, photo finishes and a few well-earned victory laps!

Interactive games, like Mario Kart, have real therapeutic value for our residents. They help build hand-eye coordination, reaction time and motor skills. Adaptive controllers and other assistive technology also help ensure that everyone can fully participate in the experience.

Just as importantly, gaming creates opportunities to build relationships, share laughs and enjoy everyday, moments of fun together.

Now that’s therapy with a turbo boost! πŸŽοΈπŸ†

A longtime and dear friend of , Archbishop Caccia has supported and emulated our mission. As he begins this new role, we are grateful that a champion of our community will carry our love onto the world stage.

During our 35th Anniversary Extravaganza, Archbishop Caccia celebrated Mass with our children, young adults, their families and our staff, bestowing personal blessings and reminding us that every life is sacred and every child is a gift.

We offer our prayers and gratitude as he embarks on this new chapter of ministry.

in 2012, relocated from our original Manhattan location in Chelsea to our new home here in Yonkers. The move marked the opening of a newly constructed 165,000-square-foot, LEED Gold-certified green building set on 6.5 acres, designed to care for 137 children with complex medical needs.

Just five years later in 2017, we added a two-story addition, allowing us to welcome 32 more children - many of whom depend on mechanical ventilators. Now, with 169 residents, our children's center is the largest provider of pediatric post-acute care in the nation.

As we reflect on how far we've come, we're equally excited about what lies ahead - including the development the first young adult center in the entire world. You can learn more at setonchildrens.org/the-aging-out-crisis.

In honor of this week, we're taking a look back at the fun we had during a recent field trip to Stew Leonard's!

Students from our Yonkers campus got the full sensory experience at the famed local grocery store. They smelled and touched different types of foods, enjoyed the kid-themed displays throughout the store and even got to go home with some sweet treats!

Many thanks to the Stew Leonard's team for so warmly welcoming us into your store!
