Last week, Elizabeth Seton Children's Center hosted its first holiday concert! With a jolly band behind them, our children, young adults and team members performed holiday classics, like “We Wish You a Merry Christmas,” “The Dreidel Song,” “Feliz Navidad” and more - filling our hearts with cheer! Our carries on with a look back at another moment that shines a light on our exceptional team members: the presentation of our Mission Award for Educational Excellence, named in honor of Sr. Marie Morris, SC. This award honors individuals who exemplify educational excellence by fostering a loving, nurturing environment for our children, young adults, their families and each other. Congratulations to this year’s recipients, Samantha Hendry, a therapeutic exercise coordinator at Elizabeth Seton Children's School in White Plains and Margarita Gonzalez, a teaching assistant at Elizabeth Seton Children’s School in Yonkers, who are helping make our classrooms inclusive spaces where everyone is supported and empowered to learn in their own unique way!
