Why do I love Astaxanthin? All the science explained right here and what’s convinced me to make sure EVERY athlete I work with makes this an essential supplement they include in their daily regimen.

I recommend 12 mg/day for athletes.
Daily. Consistent. With a meal.

If you want stronger mitochondrial resilience, faster recovery, and real cellular protection…
This is the supplement to prioritize.

Comment POWER for my antioxidant + recovery stack.

Cramping mid-weight cut? Here’s your emergency playbook.

Cramping = electrolyte imbalance.
And when you’re actively dehydrating, it’s no surprise the body starts signaling distress.

If it gets bad mid-cut, here are my top 3 fast-acting supplement fixes I keep on hand for every fighter I work with:
1.Magnesium glycinate (or bisglycinate)
Best absorbed, minimal fluid retention risk.
Stick to a low dose (50–100mg) to avoid GI issues. Quick, easy, reliable.

2. Hot Shots
A micro-dose combo of magnesium, sodium, and potassium. Helps settle the neuromuscular system without pulling in excess water.

3. First Endurance Liquid Shots
Another great gel-style option. One shot = small electrolyte bump to ease the cramping.
Just make sure sodium is

Cutting more weight ≠ more wins.

Think about it—why would putting your body through extreme stress and severe depletion just 36 hours before a major competition ever help you perform your best?

The truth: your body can’t fully recover when you’re cutting more than 6% of your body weight in a single night. It’s not just miserable—it’s a performance killer.

The best of the best?
They’re showing up to fight week only ~8% over their target weight.
And the winners?
They’re cutting 5% or less.

Less stress = better recovery = sharper performance.
That’s the winning formula.

Stop suffering before competition.
Be smarter. Fuel better. Fight stronger.

If there’s one supplement I put EVERY one of my clients on (athletes & non-athletes), it’s without doubt astaxanthin.

Here’s what I suggest 👇🏻

Take 4–12mg of AstaReal® Astaxanthin daily (12mg is the best dose and one that I recommend!) — the antioxidant that fuels your mitochondria, reduces inflammation, and keeps you performing when everyone else crashes.

✅ Faster recovery between sessions
✅ Sharper endurance
✅ Less soreness
✅ More rounds in the tank

Comment RECOVERY and I’ll DM you my supplement stack for fighters and give you a discount for astaxanthin !

In this next clip, George Lockhart shares his go-to strategy for curbing sugar cravings:
Water + cinnamon + 1–2 tablespoons of psyllium husk.

Respectfully… that sounds disgusting.
Not to mention completely missing the point.

Sugar cravings aren’t solved with a fiber water potion.
They’re solved by actually addressing the reason you’re craving sugar in the first place.

Here’s what I’ve seen over 5+ years of working with both athletes and non-athletes:
Low protein intake → Protein is incredibly satiating. When it’s high enough, sugar cravings tend to go down dramatically. Plus, it’s essential for muscle retention, especially for fighters.

Under-fueling with carbs → If you’re training hard and not replenishing carbs, your body will send signals to seek energy. Aka sugar. That’s not a lack of willpower—it’s your body telling you it NEEDS more energy to recover and perform.

So giving someone psyllium husk to “fill up” and suppress the craving without addressing what their body actually needs? Not a strategy I’d ever recommend, especially not for performance-based athletes.

Fueling properly eliminates the cravings—no gross water potion required.

This might be the best “What I Eat in a Day” I’ve seen from an elite athlete.

Leo the German—Olympic gold medalist—is absolutely dialed in.

Carbs before training.
Simple carbs during training.
Protein immediately after.
Hydration throughout.
Whole foods all day.
And enough calories to match his size, output, and sport.

His meals are balanced:
✅ Half the plate is carbs—pasta, potatoes, fruit
✅ High-quality protein with every meal
✅ Veggies for vitamins and minerals
✅ Fats timed strategically—nuts and nut butters during rest periods
✅ Consistent fueling between sessions to avoid crashes or deficits

This is what real performance nutrition looks like.
Not starving. Not skipping. Not overthinking.
Just fueling on purpose—to train, recover, and win!

Every athlete at every level should study this setup.
You don’t have to be an Olympian to fuel like one—but you do have to eat like your performance depends on it.

🔥 Want my full sample day of eating for athletes in 2-a-day training blocks? Comment “Olympic fuel” and I’ll DM it to you.

This energy shot has officially earned a spot in my everyday routine — and trust me, I don’t say that lightly.

I’ve tried a lot of products over the years, but the KANIN Energy Shot is one of the only ones I actually feel good about taking. No jitters, no crash — just clean, steady energy that lasts!

Powered by AstaReal® Astaxanthin, one of the most researched antioxidants in the world (80+ clinical studies!), and EnXtra®, a natural extract shown to sustain alertness for hours without the caffeine dip.

Together they support mitochondrial energy, focus, and recovery — so you’re not just getting an energy spike, you’re fueling your cells to perform better.

Ingredients & doses backed by science, and that’s exactly why I’m hooked.

Comment ENERGY and I’ll DM you the link to try it yourself + give you a discount code!
