We are excited to be a donation collection site for Blue Valley Community Action Partnership - BVCA Santa's Workshop. A bin will be set outside of the office as well as inside. We ask that all monetary donations be taken inside and put in the donation box on the reception desk. Our address is 1901 S. Lincoln Ave, York NE.

several lots of lisdexamfetamine dimesylate capsules, a generic form of Vyvanse, are being recalled.”

“The impacted capsules would not be able to deliver an optimal level of medicine and may impact the therapeutic efficacy of the product.”

“officials say taking the recalled medication would not put patients at any safety or health risks.”

A popular ADHD medication is being recalled nationwide because its users won’t be able to get the full effect.

I'll be honest, I've never seen an emotion wheel like this before and I think it's great! As they said in their post, no matter what a person's area of concern is identifying and being aware of the emotions one is experiencing is key to moving through difficult times/situations.

DBTSkills. Emotions/Emotion Regulation.
Emotions are crucial in navigating everyday life. Many of life's problems can be solved or eased by better emotional awareness/regulation.

"I need a drink after that"
"The day I've had.."
"She made me so angry"
"He had such road rage .."
"It's like treading on eggshells coming home from
school/college/work''...

Emotional awareness is key to emotion regulation.

Then not needing to change the way we feel with anger outbursts, unhealthy lifestyle choices :drink, drugs, feeding our feelings, overeating, spending, shopping, gambling, other forms of self harm.

Most of us have a more than reasonable grasp on emotional literacy.

We know that we need the so called ' negative emotions' as much as the feel good 'positive emotions'.

If we've never experienced sadness then we wouldn't know joy.
[ ie :the movie Inside Out and its sequel].
Yet still we go about our day, or many of us do - blaming external issues for rising levels of stress, overwhelm, reactivity.

Our cries for help are being heard and honored! York County is always so giving and today is no different. One family brought in 333 of food today and another family brought in 91 of food, and it's all the things we are asking for! Joy and happiness fills my heart as the community steps up to fill our pantry! Thank you for all you do and for all your support! York County Strong!

I was actually just checking out the fall sports team photos when I stumbled across the Readers’ Choice ballot. As I started voting for some of my favorite local businesses, I was completely shocked (and honored!) to see my name pop up under counseling services.
