🎄Holiday Stress Anyone?? 😵💫🤪
Try these 3 movements to help with neck and mid back pain:
✨Cervical Retraction- Slide your head backwards like it is on a shelf giving yourself a double chin. Push to end range with your hand.
✨Thoracic Extension- Stand about 1 foot away from a wall, with your knees bent slightly. Slide elbows up the wall while leaning in. Breathe out at the top.
✨Diaphragmatic Breathing- Lay on back with one hand on your chest and one hand on your belly. Try to expand your ribcage and fill your belly like a balloon when breathing in. Breathe all of your air out through your nose only. Your belly hand should rise and fall, while the chest hand remains quiet.
