Well this is another first for me. Usually when a snow storm is on the way I am waiting to hear from my employer if I should come in or stay home or whether the business I want to shop at is going to stay open. Now having a gallery of my own this sort of puts me on the other side of that equation. So out of concern for the safety of my staff I have told all retail operations team members, all shipping and logistics staff as well as HR and the marketing department to take the rest of today as well as tomorrow off ! The news was not as good for the content capture team. With impending foul weather that means the photo opportunities should be in high supply and the expectation is that they deliver compelling and interesting images over the next 48 hours or they can simply find someplace else to work ! I wonder if someday I will be able to dictate those instructions to my team and it won't appear as a just a crazy guy talking to himself in the third person but until then it is what it is !
